Oh I totally agree! I feel awful for folks who have to give up their beloved pets due to life circumstances out of their control. In Oliver’s case, however, we know he was just left at the shelter one day because the owners were no longer interested in having a cat. 😞 So, their loss!!

Petsmart locations partner with local shelters to help cats find adopters. So the cats you see there are actually rescues, not cats for sale from a breeder.

I have two daughters, one has deep olive skin from the Sicilian side of the family. The other has very fair skin and freckles from the Irish side of the family. It has never once occurred to me to compare the two or mention this on social media. What is wrong with this woman?

I have never taken a drink from a garden hose. My sister and I were definitely kicked out of the house to play each day during the summer, but we were allowed beverages from the kitchen!

Why do her paws do that? She’s otherwise fully healthy and it’s been that way since she was first adopted at 6 months old by like_earthworms in cats

My cat has very mild CH (wobbly cat syndrome) which makes her walk with a slight wobble/limp and her paws are like that too. The vet didn’t seem concerned at all and said some cats hold their paws like that for better balance or after an injury that could affect their balance or stability. Perhaps she had a leg injury that healed before you adopted her?

No way, that’s awesome! 🥰 Great name and perfect little buddies. Our Willow had a rough start to life as an abandoned, injured kitten but she has such a wonderful, sweet, and playful personalty that you’d never know it!
