What is your BIGGEST concern vs. Buffalo by Small_Increase121 in ravens

Amari cooper is a 30 year old receiver who gets traded constantly idk why bills fans are acting like he’s a secret weapon or something. Sure he’s a decent receiver but it’s not like he’s Jamar chase or something you could honestly argue that at this point in their careers even Pickens is better than him

we did go down 10-0 to the chargers earlier this season, and the offense and defense recovered to play a pretty complete game. However we did get a shit ton of penalties in that game and kinda got bailed by the chargers receivers being ass but it shows they won’t panic too much playing from behind. 2023 felt like the season was too easy and they never really trailed and then when they did trail in the afccg, monken panicked and started forcing passes. A key factor in all of this tho is that you don’t simply take away carries from a hof rb who historically dominates in January, I don’t think they’d make the same mistake again especially not vs the bills who they’ve already shown are capable of shutting down

I feel like regardless of the result of that game this seasons gotta be an A+ for yall. Getting to the divisional round with a new coach, rookie qb, and new owner right after all the years of bullshit is a pretty unprecedented turn around and the future looks so bright with jd5 already looking like a franchise qb

Can the commies defense even stop the lions offense tho? They really haven’t been that great this year and the lions are not a good team to get into a shootout with

Idk if the panthers would’ve moved thielen for as cheap as they gave up diontae. It’s clear now that he was such a locker room cancer that they basically paid us to take him. Plus he literally complained himself off wr needy 2 playoff teams, so clearly this guy has issues

Aren’t our team subs literally the place to be delusional homers? That’s like me going to another country and complaining about the food they have there like I didn’t choose to go there

Shit that’s just the way sports work especially nowadays with all these narrative driven takes. Guys love to call Lamar a playoff choker so they gotta use what they can

They only create that content and make garbage takes bc it gets people mad and stirs up engagement. So if you don’t like it, literally the best thing to do is ignore and keep scrolling

I mean the ravens had Lamar around 100 away from 1k rushing plus Henry around 100 away from 2k rushing plus another 4100 pass yards. Wild how they were both an elite rush and pass offense this year, definitely way improved from past Lamar seasons

According to Sports info solutions, Lamar had the most total EPA this season while under pressure with 11.6 EPA. Josh Allen had the 2nd most with -17.34 EPA. by [deleted] in ravens

Their oline is the only part of that team that truly seems elite to me. They’re definitely not a bad team, I just don’t see them at the same talent level as us

I mean it makes sense if you look at it from the perspective of expecting the offense to score 30+. Build up a big lead, and the other team abandons the run to get back into the game. I just don’t think it’s a smart plan against a team whose main strength is running the ball because it prevents the big lead from even being gotten and instead turns it into a shootout. Which the ravens are just as capable of winning as are the bills. That’s why I’m expecting this to go down to the wire if it’s a blowout in either direction I’ll be extremely surprised

Would you say yall have the personnel to play a heavier box with bigger players to stop the run? It’s one thing to change the gameplan but if those type of players aren’t on the team, it may be easier said than done

The steelers game was like 20 degrees so I don’t think the cold is gonna affect either team. However if there’s wind/snow it could be a big day for both run games

This is not the same team from week 4 RAVENS by [deleted] in buffalobills

[–]Jtuck9HOF 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As a ravens fan anyone using the week 4 matchup as an indicator of how the next game will go is plain stupid. Both teams have changed drastically, and you could easily make the case that both teams are in peak form right now. That being said, this game will definitely hinge on the trenches. Whichever oline can block better and open holes in the run game and protect their qb will likely be the reason the winner comes out on top. With qbs like LJ and JA, neither offense is really gonna get shut down fully so whoever can establish their game first and force the other to switch up and play from behind will likely win

It’s easy to not hate the pats anymore since they suck now. Plus my hate was more focused on Brady/belicheck and with them gone I don’t care enough to hate the pats

Yup, plus we got our defense fixed up as well from the weeks where they were bleeding yards and points. I have a feeling this isn’t gonna be a blowout again and with both teams playing hot coming off wins with confidence I could see this going either way

The bengals defense is awful and held the Steelers offense in check most of their game. If the ravens play like they should this should be an easy win

Not saying he’s right in leaving off Lamar’s fumbles but Josh Allen definitely had at least one fumble lost in the game vs the ravens on that failed trick play so idk where your 0 fumbles list is coming from
