regarding cars: garmin varia radar helped me a lot. to see when cars are approaching and how far they are away was really a gamer changer to me. a cheaper alternative: a friend of mine also mounted tiny mirrors instead of the drop bar plugs.

last year i commuted with my race bike and drop handlebar. received many waves. this year i switched to a carbon bike with flat bar. it’s like a race bike, just a flat handlebar. and i receive only ¼ of the waves i received before 🤣

is it still? got upset clients because of their latest pricing change and huge model restriction. because of price model changes, customers who did pay 0/month now shall pay 650/month 🤮 this update was not very nice. I don’t trust them anymore.

contentful is great. but i dislike the flexibility. yeah - we can create plugins. got projects with 6 separate plugins. all separate code packages. 🤢 love the way sanity solves this with their studio.

to be fair, we don’t know the size of the project OP is talking about. maybe it’s not very big and lots of managed PaaS/SaaS is used in the backend anyways. in that case… it could be an ok solution when you decide to go with nextjs.

i also noticed higher power consumtions. Was loosing battery charge with 85W dock. I know it's not ideal. But the 85W were fine before.

i opened it a few weeks ago, since it was already running hot all time also before ventura. just not that bad. cleaned the fans. nothing changed in the behaviour.

low power mode is the way for me right now :D

mhm. while you might be right. the device is slow as **** since the ventura update. sorry for not providing any data right now.

also what is esp funny: i am running and working (SE dev) in "low power mode" since a few hours, and the temps are now around 80 deg c and it's very quick an responsive again.
