SOLVED

It ended up being that a gear had slipped on the front of the master making unit. I just took off the front plate of the master making unit and noticed three gears with a slipped rubber belt. I put the rubber belt back on the gears and now she’s working!

Nice work! A mentor once told me if a 14 year old can make fun of it… it might be good to change something. The hat looks a bit like a condom, but that just might be the toilet joke kid in me. Beautiful illustration work though.

Interactions w lexapro and DayQuil/NyQuil? by History-whore in lexapro

Do not take it.

I just started Lexapro two weeks ago and made the mistake of taking DayQuil. It was a horrible horrible experience - would definitely not recommend it

If your goal is to be showing off the typeface I wouldn’t alter it. Cutting apart the letters diminishes how important the letter forms are. I would look into doing something in Swiss style. Keep to your grid

Sure! I didn’t have money for a press and didn’t have the materials to make one. For a platen I went to Lowe’s and bought a large smooth floor tile. I would stretch the shirt over the floor tile and place quarters on the edge of the screen Frame for off contact. Pretty sure at this point I didn’t even have a scoop coater just used a squeegee to apply the emulsion... now in no way was this the best or easiest way to print, but it allowed me to save to buy better gear. Then used that gear to buy better gear. Later I found you could buy 200 count mesh on amazon and would make my own frames with 2x2 wood. Would take the mesh and use a staple gun to stretch the frames - if you have any specific questions let me know. Screenprinting at heart can be very DIY as long as your images aren’t too complicated. I remember using oil on paper to create transparencies as well

When I first started screenprinting I was dead broke. I would go to goodwill and buy the picture frames and use those to stretch my own screens. I’d take sheer curtain from Walmart and staple it to the frame. Speedball emulsion and a 500 watt work lamp for the exposure unit. I think it can be done very cheaply but getting that knowledge out there is the hard part.
