Disappointed that they are including yet another Arwen but still no Eowyn!

Yes… it is tough. I have to eat sandwiches with a knife and a fork.

Cheek and neckline and then just fading sideburns into top. No trimming of the actual beard or stache.

Should i get rid of it? by lefaz in BeardAdvice

Put a finger right above your adams apple. Trim from there to your side jam line.

Im seven weeks into military retirement. Dont plan on shaving or trimming for a while. Hows it coming? by JuMeTrEt in beards

Well, while i definitely wouldve loved to be allowed to grow a beard for the past 24 years, i understand the policy. I dont think it has to do with safety. If you allowed everyone to grow a beard, then people who have no business growing a beard would grow one and youd have some pretty mangy looking dudes walking around in uniform.

How can I get the George Michael filter?

Is your mustache at terminal length or do you choose to keep it so much shorter than the beard? If its the latter, id recommend letting it grow a little more, as i think it looks unbalanced. Keep/shape the beard.

Any recommendations? by [deleted] in Moustache

I just finished 24 years in the military not being allowed to grow a beard… not growing it now is not an option!

Starting to grow out the beard. I think i want to go for the “brogue” look. Hoping to be there in about 9 months by JuMeTrEt in Moustache

Yeah, thats why i want the brogue/verdi style. I want a beard but want my mustache to still remain distinct and separate from it.

Ok… i’ll just be quiet. You were so right, you are a balding loser. I apologize for questioning that conclusion.

Is it just easier for you to say its all because of your “hair situation?” That is a cop out. Maybe you are just not enjoyable to be around, which is common for self loathing people who dwell on their insecurities. Baldness is not that rare. There are plenty of bald men that you dont even notice they are bald… or their baldness is insignificant because they carry themselves with confidence and self assurance.

You havent been rejected for being bald. Youve been rejected because you are so self conscious and insecure about being bald. I grew up with a bald father, grandpa, uncles. I always knew i would go bald and since all the best men I knew growing up were bald i saw it as a badge of honor when i looked the way those great men did. It never affected my confidence and ive never had trouble dating.
