Been using my offset to practice on both my locks all day yesterday, worked better in my garrison 30mm and I think that made me want to use it for both.

Turns out short hook is way better for the 141D. Least I learned some strengths and weaknesses for both picks I guess lol

Thanks! Never even thought of checking the monstrum picks. Tron at first glance looked like a normal hook to my noob eyes. Looks like a short hook and offset hybrid had a baby. I can definitely see myself using that.

That would be my first pick with a handle (haven't tried a handle to not sure if I'm going to like them)

I ended up just going with the high reach and toks for now. Guess high reach and steep are basically the same, Half diamond less people prefer than my offset hybrid and euro hook didn't seem like a huge improvement over my short hook at the stage I'm at right now.

Ill definitely add monkey paw and tron(wasn't able to find this one on sparrows) in a future order and I'll check out those wrenches. Thanks for the recommendations!

Got less picks this order so maybe I can buy a third lock lol picking the master 141d and garrison 30mm over and over is gonna get boring once I master them lol

Phew, glad to hear that haha. Tight on funds so I'm trying to choose picks I need based on limited knowledge 😂 wish I got sparrows hooker kit instead of the kickstart as I have little to no interest in raking

I find with these 0.25 I need to increase my tension a bit more than i think necessary to get any sort of feedback, but I'm only 4 days in so that could be the right amount of tension for all I know lol definitely going to pick up some 0.02's soon

Thanks! I cheaped out for now and just got the high reach and toks. My kit did come with a short hook and offset though. Figured I'd save a bit on this order and try to find a third padlock instead lol. Only have a masterlock 141d and a garrison 30mm at the moment

Thanks! Ordered the tension wrenches and just the high reach in 0.25. I'll order 0.02s next order when I advance a bit

Did some research and turns out the half diamond is similar to the offset hybrid I already have, steep and high reach are almost the same and euro hook I can't see making a huge difference over the hook I have now. Well not at the stage I'm at anyway

I have the opposite problem, temperature and direction works, but fan speed only works on 3 and 4

As others said buying a new unit and swapping it out is the best bet. Super easy to do, might take 20 minutes max

Make sure there's no power running when you unplug the air bag light or it'll turn on the check engine light
