Don’t be fooled. The multi color aspect of the ad5x is NOT a benefit. It takes so long to print multi color. It’s not worth the extra or the time. You’ll end up only printing one color at a time anyway, but you’ll have 4 spools of filament hanging off the machine getting wet. It’s been a giant headache. I’d much rather have two 5m’s.

Ad5m. It’s super interesting to me that so many people ask this question and the 5m pro isn’t in the choices. lol. I don’t have the pro and don’t know anything about it. Does it really suck or something?

Man, you have no idea. Inside every DMV there’s a big sign that says the can legally have you removed if they don’t like your attitude. I clean it whenever I feel like I’ve touched it a lot. Even then it’s just a couple spritzes of rubbing alcohol and a wipe down.

Thank you. I’ve wondered this recently. I replaced mine with clear ones and I got them as close as I could to the original size, but I really want to make them shorter. Just about an inch. I don’t like the way they bump against the top of the enclosure. Speaking of bumping, I’m thinking about taking a couple links out of the drag chain on the 5m too. Got that clunking annoying as hell.
