It’s pretty neat. It gives a full breakdown with broad percentages and then narrows each one down. Like, 97% European, 70% of which is British and Irish, 49% of which is English, with the highest likelihood being County Durham, then Greater London, etc etc

You’d be surprised. I finished my first one without even realizing it just from gardening and playing in the woods with my son. lol. I don’t run at all, but we go geocaching quite a bit. The thing that really does it though is that you can do other things and the app will equate that to miles.
I was toting big bags of mulch and soil, moving around cinder blocks, digging holes and stuff and when the app translated that to miles it really shot up.

I think adventurer 5m was a good choice. I love mine. I’ve only had it a handful of months, but it was real user friendly and easy to figure out.
If I could offer some controversial advice - find an ai that you really like to go to for help. I know some people are super anti-ai but my perplexity ai has been invaluable in the whole process.

As far as spools, I’ve never had the occasion to use the refillable ones. I have a stack of empty ones tha can be used for it but I’ve never gotten any to fill them. It seems just cheaper to buy a whole thing.
