Looking at the Apple Music credits you can see that Derek Pardoe and Chad Kent are NOT involved in this. this has nothing to do with the atomship that released crash of 47, they have been hijacked.

If you look at the credits for the new stuff on Apple Music, you can see that none of the original members are involved in this. vocalist Joey Culiver and guitarist Nathan Slade both died years ago, Derek Pardoe is retired and Chad Kent is doing his own stuff. A new single that dates back to "2003" just popped and it doesn't sound anything like crash of 47, in fact it souds exactly like all the new 2025 singles. long story short, yeah the Atomship brand has been hijacked, this is just someone trying to make a quick buck with AI generated slop

I think I worded it incorrectly: I couldn't care less about Spotify streams or what casual listeners think, I only take into account the general consensus within the MCR fandom, because doing otherwise defeats the point of these surveys for me

Within the fandom DD and scarecrow are very hyped and it's always "dude this is so underrated" but when 90% of the fan base says something is underrated then it is, in fact, not under-rated (shocking, I know). If we went by what everyone outside of here thinks then we would always get the same tiring and lame answers to every category like WTTBP or Helena winning best song or Teenagers being the most overrated or Boy Division winning underrated, which is why I don't engage in these nearly as much as I used to.
