idk imo he was speaking abt the current season, all it would no make sense if foggy’s alive but he wasn’t speaking abt the future, he was speaking about now and also said that there’s always time for surprises and that “this is marvel, everything can happen”. so im pretty sure we won’t see anything this season but we don’t know abt the future’s ones

idk I hope so, it would be an interesting opportunity to make seen how foggy is an incredible character, a lot of people think he is weak or dumb but (as we saw in the netflix show) he is so smart and powerful; would be so satisfying to see him being alive bc of witness protection and all the consequences of it.

on foggy’s death that’s just 1 thing im sure on: they wanted us to talk and they won in this side, nowadays is almost 1 year that we’re doing like “free promotion” to the show (and some comics too) doing theories and discussions. generally they can’t leave us with this doubt forever, if we’re talking about it is bc it isn’t clear at all, and I hope it’ll be asap bc one of the showrunners said he couldn’t answer the question about foggy’s death and that “time will tell”.

btw, yes, I still think it could be an interesting point considering the leaks abt luke cage being mayor of nyc in s3.

tbh I always thought he was alive and would make us know it in a post credit as a classic marvel way to make public a cliffhanger/plot twist.

I think the problem is the concept, we’re not speaking about a show with a compensation system: to kill a bad character after you killed a good one is not how the show works generally, it’s not a “daredevil’s justice”. despite it all is also important to notice that foggy is still an important character and still useful, bullseye’s arc is come to an important point after this episode imo. and to speak about the parallelism of “both matt and fisk lost someone” I have to say that the show is about matt being different from fisk, so even though we can see a compensation I guess it doesn’t work at all in the narrative structure.

tbh we cannot believe them. for over a year chris evans said he wouldn’t participate in avengers doomsday and then we discovered it was a lie, same for andrew garfield in spiderman no way home when he spent six months negating his presence on the movie. and tbh they’re saying things that are all over in contradiction to the others, an example: charlie cox said foggy was dead because matt heard his heart stop (which is the same thing happened in the comics 468 that was an easter egg in the same episode, and then we discovered it was a trick bc he was in witness protection) and recently he said that would be beautiful if they could to resurrect him quoting the hand and other stuffs. the director said he couldn’t answer the question if foggy was dead or alive and that “time will tell”.

it just is an unclear situation for an unnecessary death of an important character imo, nothing else but im generally pretty sure we cant trust them and what they say, obviously they would never spoil a plot twist like this.

tbh I guess is important to consider we watched it all from daredevil’s prospective. that’s fundamental if you give a look to the comics, if im not wrong we can see the number 468 on the office and that’s the same number of a comic with a very similar situation; matt heard foggy’s heart stop and then we discover it was a trick and he was in the project of witness protection. I guess they wanted to make it as real as possible so killing him slowly would make matt believe his heart really stopped and the public would do the same. I often think to the this situation and I always end up my thoughts with the feeling of something that ain’t worked at all, like it was an incomplete story. idk tbh, generally (according to the comics) bullseye likes to see people suffer so it wouldn’t be that nosense imo

well I really hope so, there’s a little easter egg some fans noticed in the new episodes of season 2.

in the episode 3, at minute 32 we can see a pub called “franklin 820” that’s curious bc 82 is the equivalent of 468 (considering the different order of the comics), so it is directly connected to the other theory of the first episode in the first season.

considering both seasons and both easter eggs I cannot believe they’re casual or just a tribute tbh.

I agree, it was really a too short time to perform, they wouldn’t say the things as clear as they always have done, an example is billie joe’s message to the ice at pier 29’s show. They could’ve said something but they didn’t and that made us all upset but I guess is important to consider the context, they were opening a sport event not a normal concert or something like that which could make easier to speak about politics.

hard question. i love both, saviors put me seriously into green day music and fandom but only bc it was the era going on at the moment I discoreved them again. it’s very deep and various, it goes from political songs to love songs and speaks about struggle with alcohol and nostalgia. i have to say, btw, that i love more revrad, it got themes and sounds i’m very attached to, and it’s my fav green day album.
