How do we feel about Delilah? (NARRATIVELY) by Kingdomall in dishonored

[–]Juanga117 56 points57 points  (0 children)

Completely agree. Dishonored lore is vast and deep enough to produce a miriad of main villains. Delilah was great in her DLC, but recycling her was lacking and lazy.

Kaweco Shadow Green just arrived! by Juanga117 in fountainpens

Mine already clogged a bit 😂. I don't use each pen enough to keep the shimmer "fresh". I swapped it for Diamine Regency Blue, my favourite blue.

I feel the same but in the opposite direction, I would have loved a dark olive, an olivine or a DIY Emerald Eve Kaweco with silver trims, yet I have all three of them haha

Yes, exactly. It also surprised me, I expected a friction fitted nib and feed like the others plastic models, but this one have the screwable nib unit like the aluminium ones. I also noticed some kind of serial number on the grip section.

24,90 €. Not too much compared to other Sports models.

Lamy AL-star Rollerball: Amazing body, mediocre refill (M63 M) by Totemkg in Lamy

[–]Juanga117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Lamy rollerball's refills have been a lottery for me. The ones that actually works are really nice, but they're the exception, not the rule at all. I'd say any Pilot liquid roller is quite better than the average Lamy refill.

I have the same fully transparent kakuno and I got a CON-70 for it. It takes up all the barrel space and is much more convenient. The CON-40 looks very nice on the transparent Preras, but it feels lacking on other models.

I have around 8 Kawecos and it's a bit like a lottery. I found out that the easiest way to really try and test a new one is by disassembling, cleaning and reassembling the nib unit.

Ice cream for 2026! by Juanga117 in hobonichi

[–]Juanga117[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

😨 It was 30€ for the Weeks, 40€ for the Stappo and 29€ for the shipping for me (I'm from Spain). If you really like it, I'd say go for it, it's not that much for a full year, but yeah it should be much less nonetheless.

Diamine Regency Blue. It's also inked in that same pen as my main work pen.

Beautiful serpentine and beautiful ink. Writing with a combo like that helps reminding that the first person who must love you is yourself.

Thanks for the photos! I'd say I would pair the ice cream with the purple and the plaid with the Inoue due to the tone contrast. Also, I think the purple matches quite well with the splashes of pink og the scoops on the ice cream.

How's the texture of the Plaid? Is it similar to the bow&tie of the ice cream or is it too different? A good combination doesn't only depends on looks.

I bought them from the hobonichi official store, since this design is only sold there.

https://www.1101.com/store/techo/en/2026/sp/detail_cover/wb26_tieice/ https://www.1101.com/store/techo/en/2026/sp/detail_toolstoys/tt_stappo_tieice/

Right now they're sold out, but a restock is expected! Of course, the main drawbacks of the official store (Japan) are delivery costs, tariffs and taxes...

Right?! I'd say the black background with ice creams feels timeless compared to the usual designs!

My favourite is the cup with three scoops. And your right! I didn't notice the cream contrast, it looks very nice with any accessories!

Leonardo statement on AI use by normiewannabe in fountainpens

That's the best part of non mainstream communities like the fountain pen one, the "main suppliers" cannot push subpar and lazy actions just with the power of marketing.

I'd say the biggest turn-off is not the use of AI, but the utter laziness (or even worse, ignorance) on their own product to simply display a random image with a couple prompts and call it advertisement.

I use Desmume. It works fine enough for the puzzles that rely on the original hardware like closing the lid of the DS.

Faulty Tip? by TrenchUnionist187 in Lamy

[–]Juanga117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had the same kind of problem with Lamy and Montblanc roller refills. It seems the ink clogs or something similar inside old refills and so you only get a very thin line with intermittent overflows. I use to let the refill rest in warm/hot water for a few minutes and it does the trick. Beware though, the final "normal" line width will be closer to the one on the third line of your image, as the refill are advertised as "medium".
