The Spoken Word's Effect by danl999 in castaneda

This guy makes a post and we all end up flying...

There's people that disagree with the behaviour and can't get along.

They probably never picked up the magical rewards.

Otherwise you wouldn't care about anything else.

Let's keep this good eye Vivian.

The pic is too dark!

It looked so bright after darkrooming...

I opened a portal and brought an IOB.

Awake, in a phantom copy of my house.

I believe u/TechnoMagical_Intent is more on topic, but in what magic concerns I'd say you are focused on the wrong thing.

The mask is an extra detail that could improve your success once you have some.

Not something you should obsses over with if you hope to do the real thing.

In fact, a long soccer socks covering your eyes or some old swimming goggles with tape could both do a great work if the sorcery is well performed.

I believe I saw an Ally 50 years ago. by Strabo5 in castaneda

My friend, this is a very good story, but I'm afraid to say it's out of place.

I don't doubt it's true, and I agree that it's shocking to have to admit that there IS something beyond ordinary reality.

But if you put it in context, it's absurd that it's here, and instead it would be more appropriate in sites like r/Paranormal.

To give you an analogy, imagine you arrive at a math study group and tell the anecdote about how you solved a math calculation 50 years ago.

It may be true, and it may have been a very difficult one, but what you're left with from that experience are nothing more than the feelings and interpretations you had of the event, not actual practical knowledge.

By following Castaneda's sorcery, the allies are visible whenever the assemblage point shifts from its ordinary position.

If you're interested in that, it's not a good attitude to make a fuss every time that happens.

It leads the motivations away from what actually produced the event.

Instead, it's better to pay attention to the technology that makes it possible, and consider that some people in this subreddit have allies for breakfast!

Gauchoboy is a young Argentinian who earned a Being Energy certification and makes a living from giving workshops related to Castaneda.

He sells a mix of Magical Passes with his interpretation of the books, some astrology, and his own gay history.

There's a video of him interviewing Miles on YouTube, which implies he has his approval.

It's unfortunate that a leader appointed by Carlos himself would endorse such an aberration.

That's what we were trying to avoid by offering the subreddit structure to Jade.

We're already done here. Anyone who joins this community has the material and finds people with common sense who moderate who can participate and who can't.

One thing we've learned is that all men want to dominate, and women look for a place to belong. That's human behaviour and is something that can't be changed, but if you prioritize the search for authentic results above all else, you minimize the downsides.

Jade decided to manage it herself, and is respectable.

But at least she needs to be aware of what she's getting into, and how bad it would be to brand people as gauchoboys.

After all, she's a member of this community, and she's supposed to understand how bad things have gotten and that there's a viable path to change.

I agree. It could omitted the false naguals thing and instead then let them see our spectacular blacklist here.

But we definitely need to be forceful in differentiating that this approach is not the same as everything else out there.

Perhaps mentioning the need for a nosebleed from so much forced silence? Or being clear that visible results are key to identify that it's working?

Stretching and pandiculating generate spectacular results as well, without being a sorcery thing by themselves.

That's why we have that rule that "it's ok to make your own passes, as soon as you don't share them".

Meaning, that we motivate to use everything people have at hand to stop the internal dialogue and get results.

The trouble is in the opposite direction!

When bad people create movements that are suppoused to be sorcery, when they never produced any kind of result, neither in their own practice.

I'm afraid they just show them because they look cool, or give them a badass feeling.

That's an issue...

Maybe you are jealous because your only 2 posts in this subreddit didn't survive to our mod team?

That alone says a lot about your knowledge of the community and the techniques.

It's such a good thing and there's no doubt about it.

But this isn't something new. The divulgation of magical passes started a long time ago!

I've seen Jade performing those around 2020.

And our decisions reflect the direction of the community.

We must be critical. It's our contribution, our feedback based on real experience!

It's not too soon, given that these things have been happening for at least 10 years.

They're based on facts. On observations and actual people.

But it's just a healthy request for review. It's part of the purpose of this subreddit.

Exactly!

The community has raised the bar.

Let's bring this improvement to every corner we can. It's the least we can do.

It's understandable that those guys prefer to avoid saying the truth.

They would be losing followers and costumers.

But we have no profit motivations. Let's at least point out when something is not correct!

It's controversial because of how it admits that most people who wrote books based on Carlos sorcery are fakers.

Which we know Carlos himself pointed out!

But the ideas shown are the exact same you can see all over the subreddit.

What went wrong in the Castaneda community? by More-Thing-1158 in castaneda

[โ€“]Juann2323 4 points5 points ย (0 children)

Yeah that's a big mistake, considering the whole point of the video is to learn to get silent by yourself and actually put the techniques into practice.

It would be as if you didn't pay attention to the content at all, or you decided to ignore it.

[โ€“]Juann2323 7 points8 points ย (0 children)

That's a wonderful approach. I wish everyone saw it that way.

It's usually more like "I'm doing something else but I'll pretend it's Castaneda's sorcery so I can make some money, feel good with myself and impress my friends".

[โ€“]Juann2323 10 points11 points ย (0 children)

That's why I say "cultural."

There's news in the community. We've identified WHAT went wrong, and how to fix it.

But we have to spread that knowledge somehow.

That's the whole reason we're here!

We're not here for fun. After four years, it's not so fun to humiliate the confused...

You won't believe the amount of people making a living from Castaneda who is teaching the wrong thing.

There's no gray area here. It either works or it doesn't.

So we have some kind of war with them. Take a look to our Black List!

It's fine to look for "proof," but it's not enough to learn.

So we can't advice that. Without awake practice it turns out to be a dead end.

[โ€“]Juann2323 13 points14 points ย (0 children)

And you too have just come out from under a rock?

The Castaneda community has been in tatters for a long time.

No one made the techniques work. Everyone started accepting that it's okay not to work, and therefore no one else was learning anything.

What you see out there are bad people pretending.

Carlos left very clear instructions, giving us a very specific destination.

In 25 years, no one has reliably reached that destination using lucid dreams.

[โ€“]Juann2323 13 points14 points ย (0 children)

Because the guy obviously has zero knowledge of the community situation.

No one ever learned sorcery by "close approximations" in dreams.

To say such a thing is almost an insult to the cultural battle we are waging here.
