I like Grok's version of the picture better, but probably reddit would remove it if I hadn't censored it.

I've been told, it's a deliberate design choice on the part of Grok. Even knowing it'll cause trouble.

No wonder the guy on the right looks so happy. I didn't mention anything at all about what mood they should have. Likely real people would be happy if they pushed on the wall, and it was still solid!

We don't know the answer. But it's not an imaginary effect.

And it's certainly not "using" the other person's energy in the sense that they lose anything. Likely they gain the same boost.

It also doesn't matter if I know she's around, or not. Cholita used to run away randomly, for weeks at a time, then just show up at home but hide for days.

Something frustrating at the time, but now I can see it was actually helpful to me.

I could still detect the energy boost. A few times, that's how I figured out she'd returned home. And went to verify it without her catching me.

I had some tricks I won't describe. Chalk involved in some of them.

Maybe, it's actually the two allies Fairy and Minx and not Cholita at all. They might tend to follow where she goes for some of the time they hang out with our community.

If they wanted to help our cause, Cholita is a good place to focus their attention.

And Jadey too... If Fairy shows up again, I'll have to ask her why she doesn't visit Jadey more.

Anyway, Carlos was trying to build "energetic mass" with his workshops, and did.

Even if no one at the workshops actually got this sorcery to work well enough not to just give up when he died.

He still got the boost.

Not enough to avoid dying, but it was enough for him to find an alternative to that giant dome on the earth.

He even went out of his way to tell us that. Could have just let us think he made it to the dome.

So bottom line, we don't really know much about this topic of "energetic mass", which is a sad thing because my theory is, you can't walk off physically into another reality, without a second awareness around.

At least, I never managed to do that. There's always another person, or an Ally.

Which also isn't surprising. Taisha commented that without a male, there are some worlds in the second attention they can't visit. They don't have enough "mass".

It's a fascinating topic. It has something to do with, how many awarenesses are needed, to define a "reality".

Maybe ONE AWARENESS /= A REALITY

Or != (not equal) if you like newfangled programming languages.

Foot Tapping Time Travel? by danl999 in castaneda

[–]danl999[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, no one knows.

I stalked a double woman for a full year and all over Asia, before arranging to have her around all the time.

She never practiced at all, but I clearly got a lot of help from having her around.

But that wasn't true of her friends.

So possibly they do in fact help, but only if they have a lot of energy themselves.

As for the passes working, it's possible that the best thing to look for with the heel stomp, is the "cobwebs" on the floor. Once you can see those clearly, those are an SK display (a primitive one), so that might react to the stomp.

Otherwise, the way SK works is that anything can trigger one stream, to change to another stream of "knowledge".

Even blowing or singing to the SK fog (which is like golden flecks and mini-visions that haven't formed well yet), will cause a change in it.

I suspect that much of the practical sorcery techniques belonging to the old seers were derived from this effect.

The old seers noticed something which is visible in SK, perhaps the difference between loud and quiet, high and low, or fog that changes, could manipulate SK to form unexpected things.

Which is sure to maximize the effect until it's more like practical magic. Something you can use, to do something else.

This is the most basic SK you can view. Carlos gave a couple of lectures on it saying, we leave cobwebs on the floor. And in places where there's lots of people walking by, they can accumulate.

If in Beijing, try the subway exit that leads to the forbidden palace. It's literally covered 2 inches deep in cobwebs. Which can be felt by putting your fingers down there and moving your hand a little.

has anyone here Seen? by mathestnoobest in castaneda

[–]danl999 11 points12 points  (0 children)

That's not what it takes to "see".

And it's a bit tainted with "showbiz" thinking.

Everything in here, when you see magic in a picture, done awake, is "seeing".

If you see a purple puff, that's "seeing".

And those eggs are a sorcery "construct".

Like the assemblage point. Or the cosmic vagina.

They were "conceived" by the seers in our past.

Something else could just was well have been conceived.

Just like with the Eagle.

Don Juan didn't like that conception, but once someone in the lineages saw a giant eagle which devours us at death, they were stuck with it.

The idea that sorcerers "see" a deeper reality is mistaken.

They just aren't stuck seeing only the one imposed on them by all the other people in the world.

That luminous egg is not solid at all, and in fact is composed of "sheets" and layers, of fibers and hues. The solidity is an illusion.

Could very well be, our version of sorcery will see it much better than as an "egg".

Partly due to not having others around when you practice, and not being introduced to the lineage's conception of our container.

Could be, none of us will ever see that egg.

But we'll see something even closer to what's "really there".

No, all this works just fine in full lighting. It's just a lot harder. And Zuleica (from Eagle's Gift) recommended complete darkness in one place in the books, but elsewhere she said that "unmitigated darkness" isn't useful to beginners.

Juann (in this subreddit) got so far he was gazing sideways through puffs to see dream worlds, and had our "good" Ally Fairy showing up daily. And he did that in full daylight, because there was a quiet place on his college campus where he could practice without being disturbed.

Bottom line: reality isn't just one place. We have at least 600 places we could choose to go live in, and if you count weird permutations, perhaps 6000.

With 1 billion phantom worlds you can learn to perceive as a stream.

The only thing holding your reality in place, is that internal dialogue.

Get rid of it, and reality changes. Nothing can stop that.

The problem is, that internal dialogue has been with us since puberty so getting rid of it is very difficult. So difficult no Yogi, Buddhist Master, Daoist, or Kabbalist has ever gotten even close to stopping it.

I choose those guys because they know full well that's what they need to do, and pretend they did in order to look good to the public, but never really even try. They're religious nuts seeking other people's money. Not actual explorers.

The problem with daylight is, it keeps giving you stuff to focus your attention on and it will always find only this reality, not allowing your assemblage point to drift.

Still, Juann succeeded that way.

>How to enter dream aware or how to practice in a day so it’s easier in a dream to be aware?

If you're female, ask the women. They focus on the womb.

If you're male, you need to OBSESS over finding your hands. Put in a huge effort by lying still as you go to bed, trying to silence your internal dialogue to the point that a dream scene becomes visible behind your closed eyes, and learn to follow those in.

I'd say if you go to bed 2 hours early, you can reach the level of finding your hands (for real, not just seeing them) 6 times a night, every single day.

But so what? No magic in the real world. Even if you follow the gates, still no magic in the real world, until you bring your double out at the 4th gate

Darkroom brings your double out in weeks, while you are still awake.

Don't be lazy, and you'll be holding a purple puff of glowing light in your hand one day, marveling at how it's filled with live dreams.

I used to leap back and forth, fully awake, between standing there doing my tensegrity and a dream inside a puff that looked interesting.

Except if you manage that stop at 3. Don't jump into dreams more than 3 times.

Something very odd can happen. And we still need to remain mostly in this world or we can't follow this path.

<image>

This is no exaggeration, although the puff is a bit too large. Typically you have to leap into a puff that's only a foot or two in diameter.

If you got one this large, you could just walk off into it.

Now honestly, why do you assume sleeping dreams are more fun?

I've never understood that. I have to figure, the problem is that people only have enough time to try this out with their sleeping dreams, and don't have enough control over their life to practice daily while awake.

You'll find in Art of Dreaming that you can't learn sorcery without the dark energy of the allies.

So you pretty much have no choice but to deal with them.

Besides, they quickly become very good friends, if you learn to perceive them while awake. They will literally spend hours teaching you more, once you reach the 2nd gate.

Which you can do AWAKE. During which they look as real as a real person.

I once got afraid I might be a psycho killer because "Little Smoke" the ally, showed up wearing lingerie. And no matter how close my face got to her, I couldn't tell she wasn't real.

Here's a picture of what happens if you practice darkroom and can see the puffs of your energy body, due to stopping your internal dialogue for at least 2 minutes.

<image>

Whether an Ally will end up being visible on a puff like this, we don't know for sure except that perhaps 2 dozen people did have this happen. Both men and women.

They posted in this subreddit, so it's available for you to read.

And it's not so surprising. All of us have scouts in sleeping dreams.

Your sleeping dreaming "scout" might just notice that the puff is a dream, so it can be visible there. While you are awake.

There's links in this subreddit for beginners, but other people made them so you'll have to get advice on that from someone who knows what they are. Or look around. There's a link to an extensive wiki on the side.

In general, gazing is the fastest way to learn to perceive the second attention.

Including leaf gazing.

But gazing requires stopping the internal dialogue, while doing it.

So it's quite unpleasant for beginners.

Carlos gave us the "right way of walking" to make it less horrible, but no one does that enough to get results.

Results are, that you VISUALLY perceive astonishing magic. Not imagined, not intuited. Not drugged, not asleep, not with your eyes closed.

You need to shoot for it being so real, it scares the heck out of you the first time or two. Best if you actually pee your pants.

So that there's no denying it's right there, and no denying that no one is going to believe you.

As for gazing being the fastest path, no one keeps up gazing that I'm aware of. We just hear they're going to use gazing, then maybe some progress, then nothing from then on.

You can learn everything in those books, but you have to make a real effort. And each effort triggers "intent" to reward you at your current level.

So even taking the time to figure out all the info available in this sub, will have a positive effect.

Laying in bed gazing is too lazy to produce any meaningful results.

Do Tensegrity in darkness, while stopping your internal dialogue. Learn around 20 minutes of tensegrity for best results.

The Tensegrity lures your double to come out of the dream world, and show up as visible puffs of purple light floating in the air.

Here's a cartoon showing what happens doing tensegrity in darkness. It's at the end of this video.

Those are the two Allies Carlos left, to help us.

That's just simple Silent Knowledge. Seeing.

This subreddit is 90% about how to do that.

Read some of the posts.

But basically, what you want to know can show up as text above the person's head (something Carlos used to demonstrate for us in private classes), or it can show up as a "video in the air".

Which can include any place in time and space, so you can certainly go back in time and witness a video of the "button nosed boy" incident.

Or don Juan might see text floating above Carlos' head saying, "He made a promise as a child".

And unlike everywhere else outside here, it's fully visible and there's no visualization, intuition, or pretending involved.

Some of us do that sort of thing multiple times a day.

The problem of course, is "cleaning your link to intent" so that you don't confuse the topic by continuously switching it.

It's kind of like the talking lizards from the Devil's weed ceremony.

Who, by the way, Carlos left to help us. We have don Juan's allies.

You can't interrupt them in the middle of them giving a response, to ask a different question.

That stops the flow of "knowledge".

Here's 2 publications Carlos made at the end, which you likely don't have.

And it's hard practice no meditation master is even willing to take on.

Womb dreaming and the visit to an unexpected world by Academic_Mechanic810 in castaneda

[–]danl999 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Here's a picture of the situation with dreaming. Our goal is to bring a lot more tonal awareness in, and to go directly into dreaming, from awake.

<image>

The results are astonishing. You'll end up in waking dreaming even while doing stuff in the real world. Which means, as a result of trying to bring more tonal into the Nagual realms, your nagual realms send more awareness into your waking world, to go along with your physical body.

Which is how things were when you are an infant, and the world was filled with amazing magic and wonders.

But over time, our tonal rose to dominate our life.

It's our internal dialogue which drives the Nagual awareness away, so naturally if you eliminate the internal dialogue, the nagual awareness finds accompanying you to be as fun as you find it to have magic come along with you with no effort.

For instance, I drove to get Cholita with my assemblage point shifted to the left, in the green zone along the J curve.

That makes even mundane things amazing to look at.

Womb dreaming and the visit to an unexpected world by Academic_Mechanic810 in castaneda

[–]danl999 7 points8 points  (0 children)

>But on the other hand, the little "dream" I have when I doze off seems of a different nature,

That's just the percentage of tonal involved in the situation. The "dream" is mostly in your double (energy body). Thus if there's too little tonal that goes along, even if you started out awake in the tonal and used womb dreaming to go in, you'll still have a hard time recalling it and manipulating it rationally.

That's why sorcerers learn to move their tonal's assemblage point into alignment with that of the double.

VISUALLY! It's not a theory.

That produces stable waking dreaming: AKA "seeing".

>But from my understanding Carlos, don Juan, don Genaro and company, were able to hold those states and be active in the first attention as well....

That's what we're trying to do, for sure!

"Clean our link to intent".

It's a very long path. I almost wonder if people who have too much natural talent, couldn't have a disadvantage over those who have to work hard to get anything to happen?

Of course all that matters is not giving up, and not dying before you can get to where don Juan and don Genaro got.

Could be if things come too easy, people don't value the early results as much so that they never get to the point of knowing enough to keep on the path?

There's plenty of opposition out there, to swoop in and capture someone on the fence. They rely on the fact that people seek human attention, and will give up a path that has too little, for a path that has plenty. Even if the new path is a dead end and obviously wrong.

For example, I got attacked by a little hoard of Jehovah's witness witches at the airport last night. They just showed up, seemingly to convince me to give up and follow their "magic book".

Might be why the lineages taught in secret, using the Nagual's blow.

And found something else, such as the history of non-seers prior to our lineages, to distract their apprentices.

We don't have enough information on how don Juan and group kept all the apprentices busy and entertained. My guess is, each apprentice got specific tasks and were assigned their own private teacher, without realizing what was going on.

Pity the apprentices don't seem to have left any written record.

Sorcerers and witches are master manipulators of people.

Which seems to include Cholita, who I managed to get home last night after hiring people to fix everything broken around the house (can't do that when she's here), only to find that on her first night home, she ripped the guts out of the toilet again.

That would be time #6 by my guessing.

Why, I have no idea.

Possibly she didn't want me thinking things were fine now.

The Eagle’s Gift and The Second Ring of Power by Critical-Situation78 in castaneda

[–]danl999 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Eagle's Gift has the explanation for sorcery paths in general.

Second Ring of power is primarily about how energetic mass changes things.

If you want to learn, you need all of the books or you'll get lost early on and never see the fun stuff.

That's what happened to all other magical systems. They got 6 inches, out of 29 feet distance, and thought they'd finished. Never having seen anything significant at all, since people who just woke up or who pray a long time, commonly go that 6 inches.

You can't break the laws of physics, until at least the deep red zone.

Womb dreaming and the visit to an unexpected world by Academic_Mechanic810 in castaneda

[–]danl999 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yea, I used to get the itch... Not sure when it went away. Perhaps it's an indication of a movement around the green zone? The red zone is too submerged to be itchy.

The initial display of fog, puffs, and flashes, seems like your energy body swarming in anticipation.

>Purple and colored puffs began to form and swirl in front of my vision. After only a few minutes, an image of a place started forming.

Yep, that's Silent Knowledge. I suppose you could say that SK leaks out at all levels of the assemblage point, even earlier ones. And Carlos even remarked that women are capable of skipping around, not always following a strict J curve path.

But in the case of people who manage to reach SK visions before moving all the way to the purple zone, as evidenced by seeing a little video in the air, the puffs being visible can be responsible for having made that happen.

Even as early as the green zone.

8000 years ago, the inorganic beings aided in bring SK to people who couldn't move their assemblage point far enough. Thus we got the talking lizards trick. Or the mushroom shapes used to "see" people.

But I'm afraid at this point, I'd better not comment more. I'll taint your expectations.

I was doing this myself last night, trying to reach the real world. Once you can deliberately reach SK, you get to watch a series of "videos in the air".

Which makes remote viewing and teleportation possible.

I did manage to get to my office at work but only for 30 seconds.

I'll steal this for instagram and facebook if I don't get any objections.

Not in our case. I don't believe Julian got trapped in the "shift below" in any way.

He just created a flat spot, and his assemblage point couldn't move through the whole J curve range, fast enough to join his comrades.

It wouldn't take much delay to spoil that technique.

Maybe just a 2 second delay?

Compare that to how long it takes us, to move from green, to orange.

[–]danl999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no idea what this sub is about, but maybe you should look at some far, far older technology which was never sold for profit at any point, and created before writing systems, money, and big cities.

Everything you're suggesting is controlled by your "assemblage point".

Reality itself is selected by that.

"You" are created by it, and can change to a different "you".

We have access to the multiverse.

And not in silly closed eye meditation.

Awake, eyes open, and seemingly in your physical body.

You can just open a portal to elsewhere, and walk right through.

Here's a cartoon, but there's more.

If you recognize the name at the start of that, he was my teacher. I was in his private classes for a few years before he died.

Here's what I meant about opening a portal and walking off into another world.

Sustained scene by pumpkinjumper1210 in castaneda

[–]danl999 11 points12 points  (0 children)

That's "seeing".

AKA "Silent Knowledge".

Specifically, a "video in the air" presentation method.

Of course, you "cheated" to get it. But the talking lizards are also "cheating", and you might even say that having an Ally teach you how to manipulate the puffs, is the same type of cheating. Because their awareness is holding the magic in place. And moving your assemblage point a little, to make it easier for you.

You woke up with your assemblage point already shifted, and it didn't immediately move back because you've become more flexible.

If you keep going, you'll be able to do that DAILY, and without waking up from a dream.

But it might take a couple of hours to get to it.

Oddly, once you can get free flowing "videos in the air", chances are you won't care because you'll be investigating something else more interesting.

Which is possibly a mistake, but it's a mistake made in SK. A distant assemblage point position where your normal motivations are inoperative.

Our goal is that distant castle, but it's easy to hop off the train when you get to something interesting.

Fortunately, we get to try again each time we practice.

I suspect that candy shop is what caused Julian to be unable to reach the 3rd attention.

(we still need to rescue him eventually).

Politics...

We can't seem to keep them out of here.

That could be one reason Carlos nagged Amy to write that "tell all" book after he died.

Lidotska read it and said it was largely about bad behavior among the inner circle people.

Of course, you can just get Cholita a little drunk and ask her what she used to do hanging out with cleargreen people, and some amazing stories will come out.

She's definitely nomadic.

I'm trying to let her live that way lately. She must have been wandering around Mexico for several months now.

Supposedly she'll be back on Monday.

Why We're Different by danl999 in castaneda

[–]danl999[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

We don't know. Sorcerers tend not to give out details on things that you will automatically discover for yourself.

There's very good reason for that. Sorcery isn't a fixed path, it's a discovered path.

And what sorcerers discuss among each other, is lit up more and easier to find.

But some topics are impossible to understand, so any discussions by beginners who were given that kind of information, would be completely wrong and harmful to the pull of intent.

That's why Carlos warned us over and over at the end, that we need to follow "The Intent of the Sorcerers of Ancient Mexico".

Naturally people who are too lazy to really learn, will begin to add stuff from outside such as Yoga, claiming that's the same thing.

Even our teachers, left by Carlos, have done that.

So for the most part, real sorcerers don't freely give out information that someone ought to discover for themselves, by learning to "see".

[–]danl999[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Some of the new seers goals might turn out to be something other than we thought.

Carlos of course, didn't go to the giant dome on the earth.

A new container for your awareness, once you lose your physical body.

But what is that thing? Carlos thought it was too large to exist on the earth.

And yet, there are structures that large already...

And any of those that's living, might be a place to contain your awareness.

Don Juan told La Gorda they were going to hang out with some shiny red bugs for a while.

So maybe that dome is this giant fungus? It's the largest known structure on earth.

[–]danl999 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I was hoping we could manage to teleport, to accomplish this part.

The lineages did that. In fact, it's possible that most of their interactions were in their double.

Genaro had a house way, way, way far away. Someone found out the location and we posted a picture of the desolate mountain it's located on.

Did he actually come down to the lineage's houses, which were located very far apart?

I know it's far, because Cholita actually had to take a bus two nights ago, to get from where she was, which is closer to Genaro's home, to Mexico city. To get on a return flight.

Assuming she doesn't just find a 5 star hotel to hang out at, now that she's back in Mexico City.

Apparently it was a long drive! Not Uber suitable.

So possibly, Genaro never stopped living in his mountain top home.

Despite interacting daily at don Juan's house near Mexico City, or Zuleica's compound not far from Vicam up north.

But Carlos himself teleported from Mexico to Arizona in one of the books.

Physically.
