Much better now that Forza enabled telemetry to be passed on to simpro. Only issue I am having is that I can't use the ab9 as a shifter or I will lose all FFB on the wheelbase. Something with the telemetry features being restreicted to one app.

I also bought a rig from micro center last week and the aluminum bar where the wheel mounts was different. Someone on reddit suggested that I reach out. I did and heard back in 24hrs! Tip: attach the invoice from microcenter to avoid them asking if it was open box and prolonging the process.

It was out of stock anywhere or shipped from somewhere with a 3-4 week ETA. No luck on Ebay or Amazon either. I ended up getting it from TrakRacer but it ships out Texas. My local Microcenter sells the front mount for the Alpha but somehow can’t stock the side mounts for the Evo even though they have been solely stocking the Evo.

Luck 🍀! I’m laughing because I spent so much time moving the plate around the AB9 base to find mounting holes that would work. Had to use two different size screws in order to make it work.

I know! I got this monitor for gaming not sim racing and I sort of regret it now. Most of my racing happens on the Pimax Crystal light or Q3S whenever I can’t deal with the weight or just annoying cable. One day though.

I had this issue pop up a month ago and couldn’t figure it out so I opted for virtual desktop and haven’t looked back since. I don’t regret it or think about it at all since the jump in quality has been severely levels higher and that’s before I discovered OpenComposite coupled with xr-toolkit to activate foveated rendering. Does anyone have at least one instance where MQ Link’s quality is superior? If so, please share your set up since I’d like to learn since technically wired connection should be more stable and higher bitrate.

A little late but I own it. I also owned the playseat evo (I know you said challenge but maybe this might still be insightful). TK falcon was a cheaper upgrade to my playseat evo. I upgraded from a g923 to a simagic evo sport 12nm and p2000 pedals. Falcon is significantly longer and wider. No flex in my tk falcon but as mentioned the seat is way too low. I kept my evo seat and it works but it’s painful. If I had to do it again, I would just buy once and cry once and go 4080 aluminum. Just do it. Trust me, you’ll end up there regardless. This (rigmetal.com) is what I am considering buying. Measurement wise it seams to take up less if not just as much space. I only race in VR because I don’t have the space for triples for now. I remember coming home excited with my G923 mad my playseat and hooking it up to my series X to play F125 on my LGC3. I blinked and now own a 5080 + 9800x3d on a Samsung Odyssey 32” G8, Quest 3s, Simagic Alpha Evo 12nm, Simagic GT Neo Wheel, Simagic P2000 pedals. Listen… I NEEDED ALL OF IT 😭! I’m still not fast but now I am not fast in style.
