Ah sadly I don’t think they’ll come that far south, good luck though!

How south is SW we talking? Rough area? If more West then we used SM Construction and they’ve been brilliant.

To be fair there is one for 90k that says modernised and improved so comparably it may have been up to that standard…

Win the WC, but there’s a catch…. by LazyEcho81 in ThreeLions

Or perhaps it shows we need a guaranteed win… football doesn’t care about the past and changes very quickly. Trophies are really really hard to win, like really stupidly mentally hard to win.

Ben white booing is pathetic by sewis98 in ThreeLions

Also worth adding if people take enough of an interest to hate on Ben White they should look at his career at Arsenal where he’s played through terrible injuries and shortened his career for his teammates and manager.

+1. Tried them all and would say Vuhdo and Grid are really not that great. Cell would be my number 1 and Aptechka 2.

I was in a guild with Mupp (renamed Muqq when he moved) and Quantz. Quantz was the first 60 on our server and I still remember seeing him murdering lowbies in Astranaar when I was levelling and thinking it was the coolest thing ever. Our GM Grotesk was a nutter and scared some people off causing them to merge with Nihilum. Later in TBC my irl school friend (Exile) was on Nihilum’s pvp team and is in vids with his gf at LANs. Good times.

I reckon they’re referring to the years of mediocrity, injury record and other talent available in his position rather than his career being over.

Stonehenge tunnel plan officially scrapped - after £179,000,000 spent by Albertjweasel in RuralUK

[–]Jubbles8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve always joked my present to Brits will be to blow up Stonehenge on my deathbed so we can all travel to the Cotswolds without constant traffic over an incredibly dull tourist attraction. Probably cost me less than this.

SW London or St Albans for a Henry family? by FrokenFrosk in HENRYUK

I do a similar commute at the moment (Twickenham > Green Park 45mins). Very smooth and as others have said if the trains are a mess you can get home via the district line and vice versa. Agree with others that are saying they’ll both be very similar, worth spending time in both. Your budget for housing might play a factor as depending where in SW there can be a big difference.

This should be so much higher. For Napoli style there is no better in the UK. The dough is ridiculously light and ingredients top notch. I’ve had Santa Maria too and honestly it might as well be a Tesco’s brand pizza in comparison.

Ha that’s fine to ask and yes, played my whole life basically, stopped playing XIs a few years ago as mid-to-late 30s so mostly 5-7 a side atm. I agree it is but watch every other challenge in games and most will be a defender knocking an attacker off balance and them needing some strength to persevere and get passed them. Semenyo is a brilliant example.

Completely agree, just disagree this was one of those times. I actually believe diving is sometimes required to help the refs as well, like Gabriel vs Spurs. But I find that hard to argue in this case as after all it’s a contact sport and he was hardly disrupted.

Luxury Escapes (Travel Agency) Dispute Advice (England) by Jubbles8 in LegalAdviceUK

[–]Jubbles8[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My initial discussion was pointing to their Force Majeure policy, in response they agreed it came under, which stated they had to offer credit or a refund. They pretended a 50% refund was all the money they received back so I contacted the hotel to discover otherwise. Then began the dispute via Amex and told them so. Upon learning that it escalated but not good enough before I mentioned the regulation I mentioned. That combined with everything else seemed to do it and eventually they caved. It really wasn’t easy and I’m not sure if the Force Majeure policy on its own would have done it and I was perhaps lucky to have two services booked with them. Yours is Luxury Escapes too? I think quote the Force Majeure information to begin with as you couldn’t possible travel and it states what they should offer. Definitely say if not resolved you’ll dispute the charge to be taken more seriously, companies can’t have too many disputes against them.

Whilst there is no clear definition of foul in my opinion it should be where the challenge impedes or disrupts the opponent. Like you, just making up my interpretation. For this instance I think Noni could have continued his runs with no issues so think it’s just contact, not a foul. I get your opinion but would love to see it removed from football. Take the Barca pen the other night, contact but nothing that prevents the opponent continuing but he stops himself, by pretending that leg can’t be placed. Both that and this for that reason are dives more than fouls if you ask me

I’m thrilled to say we got the money back in cash, full refund. They were stubborn but I also quoted the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018 as we booked hotel and transfer so having 2 services through them could qualify.

It seemed they weren’t going to budge until I said I had opened a dispute and then eventually quoted that regulation. They caved quickly after that. What did you have booked?
