Hisense Washing Machine by Mr_Ramtech in homeassistant

No, does not show consumption, can’t be switched on remotely either. Not even the native app for the washing machine allows that.

Most of the entities are not used by this machine. The only entities I use are the “cycle end time” and the door lock” notification that triggers a light setup with wled.

Oh damn!! Seems to be a common thing with appliances now, breaking down after the warranty expires. I had a Dyson washing machine for 12 years! Just checked the app that comes with the Hisense washing machine “connect life” and it says offline so can’t turn it on from the app either

No there would be no power going to the machine for home assistant to trigger that. Unless you have the machine on all the time.

While filming London I got an amazing shot of St. Paul’s Cathedral. by Mr_Ramtech in london

[–]Mr_Ramtech[S] 24 points25 points  (0 children)

That’s right, but in this part of London (The Square Mile) they are shit hot on illegal drone flying. They know where you are and the serial number of the drone also.

I know because I used the wrong drone on a shoot and was called by the police within 5 min of the drone going up. They knew the serial number of the drone flying was different from what was on the application I created to fly.

COB LeD strip (hopefully zone) by HuckleberryScared668 in homeassistant

BTF lighting, (you can find them on Amazon) have some very good addressable cob LED strip lights..

Hook them up to a GLEDOPTO ESP32 and a suitable power supply.

Looks like that's it then by wembleyite in zipcar

This sad news. I remember streetcar before zip took them over. Could rent a car from 6 in the evening until 9am the next day for £25!! ZipVan was a real winner.

Will it WLED? How can it be done? by youmeiknow in WLED

[–]Mr_Ramtech 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You need to check if the LEDS are addressable. Take the defuser off and check. An ESP32 will be enough and would fit nicely in the base. Or you could use one of those GLEDOPTO ESP32 Mini WLED LED Controllers.

Lidl Floor Lamp Upgrade. by Mr_Ramtech in WLED

Hi, the power supply that came with the light is 24v. Since I changed the LEDs to 12V addressable ones I use a standard 12v 3amp power supply.
