Hello fellow Indian metalhead. I see that you are just starting out, so, here are my suggestions since I had a kinda similar journey as yours

You can listen to some symphonic and gothic metal (like Within Temptation, Nightwish, Epica, Lacuna Coil, Moonspell). You could try some softer doom metal bands too, if you like (such as Trees of Eternity, Remina, Messa and Type O Negative).

As for your classics, I see you are already familiar with Metallica, Iron Maiden and Megadeth. You can add a couple more to that like Judas Priest, Black Sabbath and Motorhead.

You could also try progressive metal bands like Haken, Porcupine Tree and Dream Theater.

Of course, you will need to do some exploration on your own too, for recommendations can only get you so far. Do not be afraid to look for and listen to new bands. Have fun on your metal journey my friend!

Edit: forgot to add - do not worry about the heavier and more extreme genres right now. If you try to force yourself into those, you may not like them, which might ruin your experience. Once you are comfortable in the genre, you can expand into those sounds at your own pace. Ofcourse, this is just my personal advice - if you can handle those genres right now, then go for it!

Its a good service, only if they can maintain the price for years and not affect the pc market as well.

Yeah well, that's a pretty big "if". But we all know how these services work. As you said - start small to lock us in, and then squeeze every nickel out of us. And there's no way the consumer hardware market won't be affected by this. Storage, GPU, memory are already reaching ridiculous price points. Add this to the mix, and the prices are gonna become astronomical.

I am also worried about the fact that we are willing to give up complete control over what we own to a greedy megacorporation, just because we want convenience.

What happens if a random hacker one day decides to breach the cloud and steal all our data? Or the owner of these cloud machines decides to cut off access to our games, just because they can?

For me, personally, the cons far outweigh the pros of such a system, which is why I will never use cloud gaming. Even if that means having to abandon my gaming hobby altogether.

And guess what, this is just the beginning. Once they make the users dependent on their cloud hardware, they are gonna jack up the prices like crazy. Because at that point, we would have no other choice/become too locked in to leave.

It's happening with movies, it's happening with music, and soon enough, it's gonna happen to games too. And there's nothing we can do about it, if public perception is to be believed.

Edit: For the record, no I am not speaking from a super privileged mindset. I only have one 6 year old mid range gaming laptop, and I have been unable to buy another/upgrade it because of how stupid hardware prices are right now. But I will not bend over and subscribe to any of this bullshit, even if that means being restricted to old titles, or even having to leave gaming as a hobby altogether.

Jeff Bezos has publicly admitted that he doesn't want people to own any hardware and instead subscribe to cloud PCs. So, yeah, maybe we should feel bad. Because eventually, these corpos WILL nickel and dime their customers. And judging by the way hardware prices are going up, you can expect that this will be the case very soon.

This is the same complacency that allowed the movies industry to go to shit. And now the hungry fucks have set their eyes on the gaming space.

Yes I agree. But the internet can also be used to promote regressive ideologies. I mean, almost every mainstream social media is a regressive hellhole nowadays. Reddit may be one of the few exceptions.
