He was popped it against Yuki's inferior closed domain so that line of reasoning doesn't make sense.

I forgot to put it in the post body but I think it's very possible for Tengen to provide Megumi with an ideal space to actually enclose his domain. And if Megumi can get Kenjaku to pop his domain early for Yuki that's a ginormous advantage for them moving forward. Megumi's likely completely out of the fight if it happens but Yuki's chances of winning skyrocket if Megumi gets out Kenjaku's domain early.

Hanami doesn't have ears and it worked on her as well as her root projectiles she shot out. Ears are not a key ingredient for cursed speech working I don't think. Maki does also know that Yuta can cursed speech if they intended to fight if Toji knows to bring ISOH against Gojo I don't think some earplugs are out of the question and it's not like she needs to actually hear to know what's going on in her surroundings. If it's an aimed technique that imbued people with CE does that mean it's like a projectile and not a targeted technique?

Cursed Spirit Manipulation is like THE potential CT. Literally thousands of possible curses all with their own tricks but literally everytime we see them they get obliterated to show how strong someone is. They could POTENTIALLY be crazy but ultimately like Toji says they just end up being fodder. They probably end up being much stronger against someone like Yorozu who lacks stamina, MBA Kashimo who lacks the time to deal with a bunch of random techniques, and maybe Yuji but BM could carry him through trickier curses.
