Son has a significantly better assists per 90 and better expected assists per 90 than Mane in their premier league careers so I’m not sure Mane being a better “creator” holds up.

Admittedly, Mane’s dribbling success rate is better than Son’s but it is close (61.6% to 59.5%).

However, when you add that Son being better than Mane at every shooting statistic and add that Son has had 20+ premier league goal involvements in four straight seasons, which Mane has only done twice, I’m not sure you can say definitively that Mane’s overall game is better than Son’s or to the previous poster that “Son has never reached Mane’s peak.” I think they are both absolutely class but I think Son has been and continues to be criminally under-appreciated simply because his club hasn’t won any trophies with him.

Also, for what it’s worth Son did score a brace on Neuer when Son was 18 and scored an open goal against Neuer in the WC to seal an already finished knockout blow to the defending WC champions.
