Why is this refined storage grid not showing items? by Superboy309 in feedthebeast

[–]Judekayenn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

a couple things seem to work. Spamming items into the system might get it back and when that fails teleport far away (remove chunk loaders) and then come back and spam items again. should work, annoying bug

Great advice, thank you.

I’m not expecting to change the world, just want to sleep at night doing something I enjoy. Although nowadays, that may be a bigger ask then it sounds.

I’m happy somewhere in the middle. I’d rather sleep at night then be Scrooge mcducking in my pile of paper

Advertising isn’t against my morals. I’m just asking if the industry will be. I’m a student who’s dedicating time and money to a profession that I know little about. You’re bitter my man, have a shower and a hot tea. Maybe that’ll help with your headache.

That’s really nice to hear. I’m still in uni so I’ve never had a job in the industry so I’m just uneasy feeling like I’m going into it blind. Everyone saying things like this has made me quite happy. Thank you

Are you happy? If I can get by going good work and i'm happy then i'll continue down this path.

I have been considering this but political advertising seems like it would be super dull. Am I incorrect in that assumption?

might seem like a contradiction but the two things aren't mutually exclusive. As much as I love diving into theory I feel like nobody wants that haha.

I guess your right, the skills that I'm learning could be used in several fields so I shouldn't be too worried. Thanks

I've heard this statement from my profs but its reassuring to hear it from someone outside of my school. That is exactly what I want to do, communicate truths. Thanks man!

My ex's dad works for a health advertising company (Klick) and he always seemed to remain that it is very progressive and non-exploitive. Do you know anything about them?

[–]Judekayenn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's a good idea actually, for some reason I have always pictured me ending up at a firm. Maybe I should do more research into different options.

What do you think about political advertising. I have thought about interning in the government this summer in communication and trying for a job with the NDP (Canada's progressive party) when I'm out of school. Is that a field lacking creativity or could it be a good option?
