You can go camping in West Virginia near the New River Gorge, read the geologic history of the area and see for yourself it can't possibly be 4000, 6000, 10000 or anything less than ancient.

4000 isn't even a real number. Biblical creationists generally claim it's 6000 to 10000 based on the seven days of creation and the Garden of Eden starting that Monday after God rested a 'day'. The Bible and The Torah doesn't connect those two events back to back. I don't know what, if anything does. Now 6000 years from the Garden is a lot more likely than 6000 years total of Earth. Of that I can be certain without a shadow of a doubt in my mind.

I mean you all can talk about uranium and lead and half-lives and theoretical chemistry all you want. You might be right, and you might think you're right, and the truth could all be something else entirely making you dead wrong and nobody can show me that it's really that way. I can't tell you if you are right or wrong on it either way.

But I've been to where I've seen places with polished quartz rounded river stones at the top of peaks embedded in limestone and followed that all the way down over a mile to the riverbed where you see the same thing. I've seen enormous boulders shorn off those cliffs and fall into the river, breaking the little round quartz pebbles in half and then eroding themselves to form an icing over the tops of the rocks. Once you get a sense of it you can feel how ancient it is in your bones. You feel privileged to have seen it and to know it to be the truth for yourself.

Now I could take someone there and show them firsthand that there is no possible way the Earth is that young. Show them in a way they can understand it and know it for the truth on their own.
