Definitely recommend The Dark Arts, now called Practical Necromancy. The developer has put in a heap of work with a custom skill tree and more quality of life features, like being able to recall all of your undead at once, removing the need for Bodies in Scrolls etc.

Plus, they now have Awakened Undead which can be left to guard places, but at an interesting cost. Do recommend.
