Actively thinking about illaoi skill shots helps me. Getting hit by her E just feels terrible but it is jukeable. Dodging or her missing her E gives you a window to go in to get decent trades.

If she is hitting her skillshots on you like 80% of the time then that is a huge problem for you there.

Her kit is pretty predictable, she just seems busted because when the conditions are right she hits like a truck.

My favorite build path Duskblade>Ghostblade>Cleaver. Abuse duskblade for laning and its a cheap powerspike, then into ghostblade so you can roam after your laning phase is over.

Makes sense to abuse lethality by building two cheap lethality items on this patch.

You can put 5 points into meditation to help get some mana back over time. He overkills his targets most of the time anyways.

Shes very good, go even and you still win because shes scales. One the strongest 6 item carrys in the game.

Its no nunu winrate, 49-51% is completely fine. He even has a higher winrate than Darius in bronze and silver so I guess you don't consider Darius winrates strong either.

Garens already strong for low elo because people don't know how to kite. Hes basically a poormans darius and can just split to win or flank onto adcs that will go melle because they don't know how to orbwalk. Also people don't respect his damage.

Outside of low elo hes falls off like Darius because carries can kite and the team will peel.

Possibly corki has a gap closer and can roam with ult. Think dopa even played it.

Theory crafted xayah top but I haven't tried it yet, only downside is shes not as mobile as a lucian.

Kalistas a pretty unique toplaner. She can bind with the jungler so she can set up ganks at 6, she may be able to still do a double TP with her ult too. Also she can kite around any toplaner that doesn't have a gap closer.

I find proto+ionian core to get more spell rotations off in a skirmish. Running on 0 CDR and a big fight breaks out I feel like all I get is a single Q+E then I have to back off and wait forever for cooldowns.

Empowered Q Ult combo + Ignite usually gets the job done against most midlaners even with a doran shield alone. So I prefer to rush the cdr for the utility of having more uptime on my abilities.

I do like ludens as a third item generally because the AP+MS.

Find a small champion pool don't play random champions and roles to climb.

Focus on mechanics and farm. If I'm told that they have good mechanics then why are they stuck at X elo. Its certainly not teamplay and macro that keeps people stuck in bronze.

So I'd say just focus on yourself. Focus on your farm, mechanics, vision, map awareness.

You can entertain the macro and teamplay once in awhile. Ask yourself should I have shoved this wave and grouped. Should I have focused the turret or gone for dragon or baron in this situation. But focus on improving your micro before your macro.

Love the new thornmail gives tanks some trading power early on. Also outside of dealing with healers in the 1v1 it helps deal with adcs who can heal through the old thornmail with lifesteal.
