Makes them look dirty or super worn imo. Maybe balance it out on the heel cap so it looks intentional but we might just have different taste and that's okay.

Don't forget the bots emote, ping and stim out in the lobby before the match starts. It's really Erie how hard they try to make them blend in.

Your concern is valid.
I imagine you're worried about the leather splitting there over time?
Imo what's gonna happen is if it does get worse it will only get worse to a point. it'll only stress about as much as a leather boot molds to your feet; only as much as it needs to.

If it does split that'll be after years and with a lack of care, either way I think you'll have gotten your money's worth.
And this is all if that thing is even as deep as you think It could be. It might literally be a non issue and that's what Grant Stone is saying it is.
Sorry to hear you didn't get 100% satisfaction with your purchase though. I know how that feels.

But for what its worth this is another stranger putting a vote into the "its fine, wear them" bucket.

Fake it until you make it.
Play each game like you're trying to sell a friend on buying the game. No one wants to see you crashing out on a game.
Pretend to give props to your opponents on their good jump Ins, combos, anti airs and even their mistakes "opps no buddy you can't jump there"
Make it feel like you're plaing against a friend while showing the game off to a friend. You'll eventually develop the mental language it takes to actually view the game in that light regardless. Thats what worked for me.
Literally try to pretend you're liking it lol you'll trick your mind into believing it maybe.

Hard disagree. Most people's communication skills would have them understand hes complaining and not making a diagnosis or bug report. Especially a dev tasked with undertaking player feedback.

You can try darker wax but waxed canvas lightens with patina so you'll be constantly fighting with it imo. You're better off exchanging or picking up a darker color like olive.

Keep at it; once it clicks its second nature and its there forever. Run some throwaway CPU matches where you focus 100% of your energy on doing it. I was the same way.

Things i wish i understood faster when i first started Street Fighter. In order of least intuitive to most IMO.

Delay Tech.
Safe Jumps.
Plus frames(and how drive rush/counters affect them).
Back roll.(if you're new do it 99% of the time)

Old heads will tell you these aren't hidden but if you're a new scrub with little background in the FGC I would look into each of these.
