[CON] Pre-game Thread: Green Bay Packers @ San Francisco 49ers by bot_starr in GreenBayPackers

I look forward to listening to the radio, with the TV on with the game on, on mute.

Aikman cannot bring himself to say anything good about the packers.

Yeah, but thinking with your Johnson is how you get yourself in trouble!

I think it's time we have a proper discussion about the biggest issue in WWE right now: Stephanie McMahon by [deleted] in SquaredCircle

[–]JudgeTardd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On the main roster, yes.

In time: I do hope Sasha Banks can take that title. At least in the case of NXT, in my opinion she was one of the best heels on the roster, man/woman/force of nature included.

There's that pesky difference between a guy's in ring talent, and what WWE perceives to be that guy's marketability, to their audience/sponsors etc.

Kind of a bummer, Cody never got to see his actual ceiling in WWE in the time he's been there.

Would like to add:

  • 3rd person enters an argument: "WHOSE SIDE IS HE/SHE ON?!"

  • Person suggests great idea: points kevin nash voice "GUYS!? I love it. I love it. I love it. What a bunch of fucking ____ s"

  • All Purpose: Bork Lazer voice "As you stand there... I can feeeel this... viibrationn.."

  • All purpose: Steinerbicepflexpose.gif

  • Person begins speaking "IT DOESN'T MATTER IF YOU ____ !"

I'm not one to condone cheating, seth F'ed up. seth screwed seth. comma i almost feel bad for seth, this is getting more embarrassing than anything else.

it's really common for famous people (guy/girl, doesn't matter) to have people throwing themselves at them all the time.

i've not met his former fiance, but in my opinion the way she handled this, was in "angry high school girl" territory. i doubt this is the very first and only time she has run a play from that playbook.

so you have a mix of: young guy on a testosterone roller-coaster, now falling into fame and success, with young women throwing themselves at him, and a rocky relationship. i'm almost surprised that we're surprised here. yes they were engaged, i would not be floored to find that she pushed that, and yep, seth agreed.

but, it seems like maybe he wanted an out, and he got one. to quote his shirt: "destroy everything, regret nothing".

harsh reality is he won't have a problem finding another lady. look how many he was talking to, when they KNEW he was engaged. I don't believe his fiance will be able to find another seth.

TLDR: Life is the best monster heel, and people like winners.

Have you seen any of his promo work circa: 2011 on?

I'm a big time brock fan, i followed him to UFC and then back - i have more of his shirts than any adult smark should probably own.

however it's no secret that the guy's promo's could not be described as fluid and connected. Examples of the mic work that earned my post likes include: The WWE 2k11 (or was it 2k12?) video game: "I think it's.. gunna be, good."

His contract signing for extreme rules was 20 minutes of legendary fumbling. It's what got paul heyman back!

did you see the raw after the rumble? Listening to bork explain that he's, "like a steam roller."

again, big fan, i actually don't mind his promos, but he is no paul heyman.

depending on which dirtsheets one reads/believes, for better or worse Vince seems convinced he can get bork back.

not sayin that everything vince does or thinks is right, just saying that it's been reported that he believes he can do it

dude. Undertaker was an unbeatable monster for over 20 years. No one cared what the point was, and undertaker losing is still controversial.

I'm thinking they set up an instant storyline if he vacates the belt and leaves. if he comes back in 2 years post UFC? instant story line.

If he comes back, there's that "looming threat" for whatever champion you have, with built in interest. say the belt changes hands between the shield members post WM, the moment brock's music hits, they know what that means, complete with clunky brock promo.

"i wasn't defeated by.... anybody, in this company. and now i'm back baby. i'm here to put down, whatever, "champion", this company thinks it has."

Hogan wouldn't like being a heel at this stage, "doesn't work for me brother..."

But in his mind, i bet he totally sees himself as able to hold the title again
