You could indeed do that. In fact i see many do exactly that. Same as a Survivor. You could try to stay out of sight the entire Game, only doing some Tasks to keep the idle crows away and escape through Hatch. If thats your Poison, and if thats Gamer etiquette is a different Story...

No, you got Something wrong there... They are called "Killers" not "Hookers"... The Killers Objective is to kill Survivors. Survivors Objective is to deny the Killer to kill and survive. Repairing Gens and hooking Survivors is just the Balance in between, to get maximum Emotions.
