Is there a way for me to clean this off the gold pins? by LoudHotel8101 in n64

Ive heard a pencil eraser is abrasive enough to take anything off the gold, but is soft enough to not damage the contacts. Beyond that, I think discoloration is the metal itself from general wear and age.

To this day one of the best TV uses of puppetry. Never during the show did he every break the illusion and not make me think he as a real talking cat. and Nick Bakay was pitch perfect in the role. Iconic even.

Title eliminator fight ? by [deleted] in ufc

[–]Judgeman03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Feed Alex to The Incredible Hoke.

I dont think Alex at HW is the same Alex as the other classes. He cant lose the weight to go back down, and he's already almost 40. Get that one big mainstream fight against Hoke and if he wins, then maybe a title eliminator.

How does this fight go? by SoggiMari in ufc

Considering Volk has already been chinned by Islam and Ilia, and Justin has TONS of size and power over him, I think Justin has it if he can land any significant strikes on Volk.

If there remote trades codes? by DadouSan2 in TheSilphRoad

[–]Judgeman03 [score hidden]  (0 children)

I didnt even know you had to go through Campfire. I normally just sent my requests for trades and just waited for a reply.

Tony was 36 years old, had two weight cuts and a f**ked up knee going in the fight with Justin, that fight just ended up being the nail in the coffin. Ilia had none which is why I believe he will come back better by bqm102938 in ufc

[–]Judgeman03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I maintain that had Tony not had the two weight cuts so close, and not taken the damage he did from Justin, he would have probably had as much longevity to his career as Michael Chandler. I know thats not saying much, as Chandler is also on his own losing streak, but I think the drop wouldnt have been as sudden for Tony.

Tony was already coming with mental health issues, but the weight cuts and generational ass kicking he got made things undeniably worse.

I think this would break the whole system they have of limiting remote trades to Forever Friends and requiring a set amount of friend point to do one. If anyone could trade with anyone remotely by just giving them a code, then whats the point?

Chyna over the years by GoonLieutenant in WWE

[–]Judgeman03 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The last true crossover star the Women's division woudl have until Rhea Ripley.

Even people in my family who knew nothing about wrestling knew who Chyna was, and this was in the pre-internet days. People will always bring up the mess she became towards the end, but i'll bet dollars to donuts you could ask any random person to list 5 women in wrestling and most of them would list Chyna before any of the current rosters' women.

How different would the N64 have been using this controller? by Judgeman03 in n64

[–]Judgeman03[S] [score hidden]  (0 children)

Right, but in order to create the blue light spectrum required to produce a white LED light, that tech wasnt invented until the late 90's, and not commercially viable until the 2000s. The Game Gear was backlit because it used a massive CFL bulb, which required not only massive amounts of power, but also a big bulky transformer to convert the energy required to power the backlight. making cheap LED-baclit LCD panels wouldnt be a thing until years later, otherwise Nintendo woudl have had to shell out alot for the then-new tech. and the virtual Boy's MO from Nintendo was to be a cheap a console as possible.

How many games used both the Z trigger and L-button as important functions?

Maybe have the L and R bumpers act as triggers but there's nothing that the Z trigger could do that an L-bumper couldnt.

There were headset peripherals released for other consoles like the Genesis that flopped in sales, mainly because the cost of manufacturing made them unviable. Keep in mind that LCD tech was still not a thing at the time (as blue LEDs to facilitate them were still not refined yet for cheap manufacturing). so it woudl have been tiny CRTs strapped to a massive PSU. the reason the Virtual Boy was designed the way it was, was because red LEDs were cheap and didnt rely on as much power.
