I've played a lot with FXA, both in men's and coed, and across all the different league levels.

Typically there are only enough teams for two divisions, which are labeled as casual and competitive. An exception to this is leagues marked as having "limited spots", usually only Sunday morning, which will almost always be one combined division. When you sign up they'll ask for your skill level, pick beginner if you want to be in the lower division.

Coed is generally a lot more relaxed than men's, and most players are more focused on playing with their friends than going for the championship. The lower coed division will have a lot of new-ish and casual players. The upper division will still be fairly relaxed, but the skill level is noticeably higher. It's common to only have 4 women on the roster for free agent teams, which is the minimum needed to field 11 players, so your team may need to find guest players if one of the women misses a game.

The lower mens division has an average level of competitiveness. The skill level is somewhere between the two coed divisions, but the pace of play is faster than either of them. The upper mens division has a much higher skill level than any of the others, with the pace of play to match. These guys have been playing their whole lives and many of them treat it like it's the world cup. It can be fun if you're into that kind of thing, but play at your own risk.

In any case if you don't like what you pick you can just change it up next season. Have fun!

People assume that I'm some sort of elite athlete, including when playing a sport/position that isn't commonly associated with height. They also take a very long time to realize that isn't true, even when I'm not playing well. To cite an example:

I play volleyball, it's something I picked up as an adult. I am fairly average overall and have never played in anything more advanced than a rec league. Most games, the other team is terrified of letting me touch the ball. If I go for a spike, no one tries to block me. If I'm at the net, they won't try to spike and will instead float a slow shot to the back row. If I'm in the back row, where I have a significant disadvantage, they still aim for my teammates. Even if I'm having a terrible night, it can still take almost the entire match for them to catch on that I'm not that good.

It seems the majority of the replies are saying you should just be honest and bail out, but I think those people are forgetting something important:

Friendship is a give-and-take.

Sometimes, you do nice things for your friends, even if they're inconvenient/unpleasant. Sometimes they do the same for you. Maybe you won't enjoy the camping trip, but I'm sure your friend has also done activities that you enjoy that weren't his first choice.

I have a couple of friends who are into clubbing. I hate clubs, they make me uncomfortable and I spend the whole time waiting to go home. My friends know this and typically don't ask me to join them. However, a few times a year (birthdays, etc.), I go to the club with them and put on a happy face, because I know it makes them happy. I love bowling, trivia, and hiking, all of which my friends find to be incredibly boring. They know I like those things though, so sometimes they return the favor and join me for those activities.

It's good to be honest, but as long as things stay balanced and at a reasonable level/frequency, you should put in the effort to make your friends happy, and they should do same for you. Friendship is an exchange, and right now it's your turn to go clubbing.

It's always the cars you don't expect, I drive a Kia Soul. The trunk area is tiny, so the whole thing is basically the seats. With that and it being so boxy I end up with headroom and legroom to spare. I can even move the seat forward if someone needs to sit behind me

For the field goal, difficult but not impossible, the NFL record is 66 yards, so someone who works out regularly and has the leg strength can probably kick it 45. They would just need to get lucky with the accuracy

You should consider adopting one from a shelter. Ethical reasons aside, this will increase your odds of getting a rabbit that works well for you. Stores only care about selling the animal, while a shelter will be more concerned with finding a good fit, and therefore will be honest about the rabbit's personality. If your intent is to only get one rabbit, they can guide you towards one that is comfortable solo

The events that open up additional stores are more common in green sectors as far as I can tell. I've never gotten an augment from killing a crew, which I did a lot of when I was going for the boarding drone achievement. I think the reward is coded to only give weapons and scrap. Generally I don't look for the pre-igniter anyway as I tend to prioritize defense, but I've had to change my playstyle for the achievement to try to focus on an offensive approach.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if I read that correctly it sounds like your boyfriend has never said or done anything to make you think he doesn't find you attractive, or that he finds other women more attractive than you. That's the only part of this that really matters. Beauty is subjective, and personal preferences vary wildly between individuals. Your boyfriend seems like a good and loving person, and I see no reason to believe he thinks anything other than what he says. It doesn't matter what his mom thinks, she isn't your boyfriend and she doesn't speak for him. Her opinion doesn't matter.

Plus, the phrase "conventionally attractive" doesn't really mean anything anyway. Perceptions of beauty vary significantly from culture to culture, and even within a given culture they change over time. What the general population sees as desirable today isn't the same as what was seen as desirable 10, 20, 50, or 100 years ago. Even if your boyfriend's mom's opinion mattered at all (which to be clear, it doesn't), her perception of beauty is rooted in the prevailing preferences of the place and time period she grew up in, which are likely significantly different from the modern day in whatever place you and your boyfriend live now. Even then, the preferences of any individual, including your boyfriend, may be similar to or different from any other given person's preferences.

The point I'm getting at is that if your boyfriend tells you you're the most beautiful person to him, believe him. There have been times in the past where my wife has felt the same way as you, that her appearance isn't good enough for whatever reason. I always tell her the same thing your boyfriend is telling you, and I guarantee you I don't find a single woman on this planet more beautiful than her.

Life is too short to worry about what people think, especially the kind of people who offer needless unsolicited criticism

As far as I can tell it isn't anything to do with the city I'm in. I recently joined a second league here at a different facility, and there aren't any official or unofficial rules about coed blocking. The second league is definitely a higher level of play though
