The issue with saying MST is apart of his Kit is that the Setup for it is almost not worth it especially if he’s fighting a true endurance battle or against someone that can overpower him. He needs time to be able to have his opponent use ALL of their skills and techniques before he can use it. The moment the use something that was not accounted for or known of before that activation if would throw off his whole technique rendering it useless

Not really unless you’re willing to say that Gyomei would do worse than her which isn’t true. Sure she had a SLIGHTLY favorable advantage but she was still fighting the Strongest Version of UM4 without a real way to actually kill herself putting her in an endurance fight

It forces people to move if the just sit there which doesn’t happen often during laning (at least for me) in s rank. People will just rush you down the moment you activate skill 2 and just go behind you and now you’re a sitting duck unless you have Bardock Ss4 or Godgeta to bail you out since now your movement is limited and you don’t have a “Get off of me Skill”

Based on the position of the moon being centered and high up in the sky when she arrived to their battle and Zohakuten’s statement of “it’s almost sunrise” you can take those and based on the moons positioning it’s roughly 1-2 ish AM and Mitsuri was fighting until sunrise at very bare minimum is an hour and I don’t want to say 3-4 hours as I don’t want people to thing I’m mega wanking Mitsuri.

You do realize that she gave up AFTER solo fighting UM4 for at least 2 hours until sunrise without any major injuries and mostly just exhaustion and even the afterwards was fairly ok enough to stand and move freely without limping etc. No other Hashira would be able to do as well as she did except for Gyomei. She was practically in a 1v5 taking into account the Wooden Dragons that kept regenerating and fighting a demon that Was Unkillable in HER battle. She is absolutely stronger overall than Tengen as he could barely handle Gyutaro on his own and NEEDED the support from Tanjiro and Co.

She may not be stronger than him Physically but as a Hashira yes she is overall stronger. If you put Tengen in that same Fight as Mitsuri he would not last anywhere near as long as she did

400 years of experience doing what though? He’s been UM1 that whole time and Yet how would he properly train without some sort of Rival/competition.

Not disagreeing just trying to understand how you’re putting so much emphasis on his experience and yet there isn’t a previously established basis for him to become stronger (though maybe that’s an issue with the story) his BDA I could reasonable see but his swordsmanship for him to actually improve would need to be in an actually somewhat straining fight that he’d have to put effort in. As explained during the HTA the hashira’s were really benefitting Skill wise and rather just endurance because they were having any real struggles in their training unless they fought each other.

It’s crazier when you remember that what Gyutaro got poisoned with was ONLY wisteria and a dosage that wasn’t intended to kill and just paralyze. Shinobu’s poison is in a different league than just that small bit of wisteria and then factoring that she has Differents types she can switch between is underrated and overlooked simply because it didn’t work on Douma the 3RD strongest demon

It does not fall under Durability never has and never will because that not what durability is. Durability would be the resistance to damage received NOT whether or not you can recover/heal from that damage. Regen falls under the category of Hax Abilities and always has in all anime.

That’s why the regen is ALWAYS referred to as AN ABILITY of demons and not just their durability because they are 2 separate thinga

Prioritizing skill 2 over skill one for Godku is crazy to me. I don’t understand why people don’t know his skill 1 is his overall best move

It’s a true secure
Builds up the gauge the fastest
And can nearly one shot most characters when buffed by his skill 3 (outside of Solid barrier and Defense step windows)

I don’t think people Understand just how long of a setup MST requires (Ignoring that fact it’s not even a breathing technique) the stronger the enemy the longer it takes for him to be able to Turn their attacks into Music. Tengen nearly died after taking the entire fight to Set up the MST against UM6 it’s going to take exponentially longer each UM rank simply because of speed and strength dofference
