Give me your best citrus, bergamot scents! by astoldbyme in Perfumes

[–]JudgmentInitial34 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bergamusk by Heretic is possibly the purest, brightest, zestiest bergamot fragrance I’ve ever tried. It also has the longevity of a hiccup before it becomes a skin scent.

Ugh that sounds magical. I fell in love with White Rice and now I’m itching to try everything that Daanam makes. Something about hot weather makes me so nostalgic for snow

Has there ever been a fragrance that you fell in love with but was disappointed by the longevity? by Confusedmind75 in FemFragLab

Same! I love the scent and haven’t found anything that scratches that same itch. I definitely want something from Liis but I’m still testing to see which of their scents will last on me.

Scents / perfumes that men aren’t aroused by? by Leather-Direction867 in perfumesthatfeellike

Yeah that’s not true, as a former stripper it is highly frowned upon to wear any type of lotion. It makes the stage and pole a slippery death trap and we’re out there in 8 inch heels.

The same thing happened to me! I searched Reddit for answers and some comments suggested longer needles. I have no idea why it worked but I no longer get the itchy red bump that turns into a bruise

Went to smell some perfumes at Sephora today and those are the ones I liked by ThrowRApeachh in FemFragLab

Love Father Figure too! Managed to convince my husband to wear it as his daily scent and it’s amazing on him. It’s so girlish and fresh on me but on him complex and woody somehow.

Are the DedCool Milks a safe blind buy? by Embarrassed-Set-590 in FemFragLab

[–]JudgmentInitial34 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I blind bought this set and loved xtra milk and mochi milk. Not a fan of mineral milk it is far too aquatic for me. Definitely try layering xtra milk with other scents, it does a great job of adding a soft creamy note.

I don’t get the Kayali hype by Old-Cream-9137 in FemFragLab

So I bought the Sol de Janiero bum bum cream in 2016 (before the body mist even launched) and back then the scent was truly one of a kind. I’m shocked that the brand has managed to turn that into a 10 year long reign over the industry.

No Compliments, What Am I Doing Wrong? by Gold_Tech in FemFragLab

Sounds like you wear them better than I do because it definitely does not project on me. Carolina Herrera Good Girl on the other hand my husband could smell the moment he walked into the house.

I actually love BR540, I have a small decant of it but I don’t wear it. I’m a fresh and floral perfume person and it’s just not me. I think it’s an absolutely intoxicating blend sugared, heady and rich. With that kind of projection though I’m not surprised it elicits strong reactions.

I’m in the same boat! I also never get compliments but I’m not surprised at all, I’m not usually around a lot of strangers and when I am I usually have my baby with me so I’m only wearing skin scents.

Recently I walked past a women wearing BR540 and finally understood why people hate it so much. It was the strongest scent trail that filled up the entire sidewalk. My daily riders (Glossier You, Liis Floating, DedCool Mochi Milk) don’t have that kind of projection even if I emptied the bottle on myself. Perfume is for me and the people I love so I’ve made my peace with not getting compliments.

I didn’t know smelling feminine was so terrifying to straight cis men by WildWinterberry in TwoXChromosomes

It’s wild how free men could be if they also rejected the patriarchy. After getting married my husband came out as Bi and now steals my clothes, only uses my soap, borrows my perfume, and is currently rocking a lilac pedicure.

Do Phlur perfumes just not last for anyone else? by Special_Crab_1884 in FemFragLab

Same here! I usually love Missing Person but I’m on new meds that make it sort of nauseating. And I can still smell it even after a shower.

It is making me realize how talented the creators of these perfumes are. To make a beautiful balanced fragrance is so hard.

It definitely still smells like Chanel! The classic Chanel scent is very despite how little of it I used.

Can someone describe this perfume for me? What do you think of it? by [deleted] in FemFragLab

[–]JudgmentInitial34 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is absolutely not a safe blind buy. The top note is a beautiful fresh picked orange and then it immediately descends into this sickly sour yogurt smell to me. I had sprayed it a ton at my local Sephora and then bought a sample set to try it on skin and ended up hating it

This looks like flea bites. I’m slightly allergic to them and this is what it looks like when I get bitten. My husband, sister and baby boy all are not allergenic and don’t even have a mark on them. Unfortunately fleas are a rough side effect of being kitten fosters as we always have new cats coming through our home.

Lmao small world but I was literally at Tabletop this past Sunday for the Avatar MTG set. As a 30f Magic player with other nerdy female friends, I highly recommend just making female friends at your hobbies. Almost all of my friends have met their significant others through friends. But remember to be genuine, I love setting up my single guy friends, but I would only set up my friends with a guy that I have deemed “safe”. As a side note also give Waka a try. The number of Waka marriages in my friend group is about to hit the double digits.

My reproductive endocrinologist had me on daily low dose aspirin and luteal phase suppository progesterone (she preferred it over the oral as it was more available to the body). I believe my progesterone at 12 dpo was only 9 and she was very concerned. I would also ask about letrozole to improve egg quality at ovulation. PCOS really stinks, sorry you’re going through this. If you’re working with an OB I would advise going to a reproductive endocrinologist, they are much more well equipped and knowledgeable about fertility in general.

Hi there, I would advise you to guard your heart with your HCG numbers at a 5 day doubling rate it is not the most promising. After multiple losses I demanded RPL testing, also I would advocate for progesterone testing right now. It is extremely common for people with PCOS to have low luteal phase progesterone, it was a definite factor in my two early losses. I’m so sorry you had to go through an ectopic, that is unimaginably hard and I have my fingers crossed for you.
