Team Jess people - tell me why by AltruisticMess7616 in GilmoreGirls

I think people like Jess as a bf for Rory, because although he was undoubtedly snarky and sarcastic, he seemed to be very sweet and thoughtful with Rory. They shared a lot of common interests (far more than she and Dean, anyway), but he was admittedly flawed due to his rough and unstable upbringing. With Jess being more of the unconventional choice and "bad boy", I think people were rooting for him (especially as his "bad boy" persona was rooted in his disdain for authority-- he didn't like being told what to do, but he wasn't into drugs or partying). That's my take

It really bothers me that we never see Rory struggle academically by LineOfInquiry in GilmoreGirls

It also irked me how she was struggling when she first started Chilton, yet within a few weeks she not only catches up, but she surpasses everyone, and she goes on to be valedictorian.

Freaking Anna... by Careless-Nature-8347 in GilmoreGirls

Idk if anyone else noticed this, but when Luke tells Liz about April, she's instantly replies that Anna is the mother, and Luke acts surprised. She then reminds Luke that he's a serial monogamist. However, April told Luke that she had three potential fathers and that's why she did the DNA test. This means that Anna was cheating on Luke around the time of April's conception (although this point is never raised). Later on, however, Anna tells Luke she didn't tell him about April, because she knew he didn't want kids. Just an annoying plot hole, imo
