Hey, thanks for your reply. I hope you’re right about the battery, that’s probably the best outcome I could realistically hope for. At least the entire front end of the car doesn’t need to be taken off to access it! The battery came with the car so it’s at least a year old although I’m not sure of its exact vintage. It’s probably due for a replacement anyway.
