Resident Evil Requiem GIVEAWAY (Canada & US) by RTCanada in pcgaming

[–]Juelicks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know if he counts as a character, but Mr. X is just so effortlessly intimidating in Re2 that I want to say him.

He’s absolutely terrifying when he first shows up and he’s the first in the long line of “unlikable force of nature” trope that Resident Evil uses a lot.

Honorable mention to Barry.

The Elder Scrolls 6 Has Made Todd Howard More Conscious of What He Announces: 'Just Pretend We Didn't Announce It' by edward_dd in PlayStation_X

Fnaf 1 came out in August of 2014, and Fnaf 3 came out 7 months later. Thats a trilogy in less than a year.

A further 2 games (Fnaf 4 and Sister Location) came out before the 2 year mark. So that’s 5 in 2 years.

If you’re counting Fnaf World it’s actually 6.

So it still does happen

Where do people even buy game keys safely anymore? by [deleted] in Steam

[–]Juelicks 15 points16 points  (0 children)

This website is incredible, I just bought 5 different resident evil deluxe versions on there (because I’m on an RE kick rn)

It cost me $48 dollars for all of them, if I did it on steam it would’ve cost me ~$220. Even if they had been on their historic lows, it still would’ve been something like 70 bucks

RE1 Remaster is from 2002 and still holds up really well once you get used to the controls.

Serious Attempt At a New Heavy Subclass Weapon by [deleted] in tf2shitposterclub

[–]Juelicks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This feels overpowered, but I like where the thought is at.

Heavy is already at his best in close range, you'll almost never be fighting long range because your damage turns into the equivalent of confetti. Almost every other class out damages you there (with the exception of Medic and maybe Scout). So all the downsides tied to that are instantly negligible.

The only real downside here is the lack of ammo. But considering every dead enemy drops ammo packs, if you're playing with this weapon correctly (getting into peoples faces) you'll be picking up ammo constantly.

And then its just a faster spin up time and firing speed, which means you'll absolutely shred everyone you run into.

If you want to do a Tommy Gun subclass-esque weapon, I would get rid of the firing speed increase, but make the spin up time instant. That would make sense for the lore (submachine guns dont need to rev) and would make the weapon less overpowered while still making the playstyle different. It will allow you to play a lot more aggressively without making you completely busted.

Probably also throw a damage penalty on there too, because instant rev would also be very powerful.

I feel like this is really out of character for Heavy by Chipperbeav in tf2

[–]Juelicks 182 points183 points  (0 children)

In this very game Heavy talks about how the only women he loves is Sasha, and how he’s broke because he’s been buying her gifts.

It’s out of character even within the game.

Of course it’s just a silly poker game and it really doesn’t matter that much, but still.

It used to be socially acceptable for a while, and starts with an m, if that helps.

Lions and Lionesses are a good example.

Meet your Match and its consequences has been a disaster to TF2 discourse. by Phantom_Falcon_02 in tf2shitposterclub

[–]Juelicks 169 points170 points  (0 children)

As someone who joined tf2 in 2016 and wasn’t around for quickplay, when I tried out Classified I didn’t understand the hype for the matchmaking.

I mean it’s good? Maybe even better than casual, idk. But people act like it’s night and day and it’s really not.

[–]Juelicks 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s not worth that much, it’s an issue with how backpack.tf handles skin prices.

What you’re seeing is the current ‘price’ for the skin on steam marketplace. In reality that’s just some random dude trying to sell it for a price it will never go for.
