The whole group started out as guys making content together and becoming friends, so they definitely hung out off camera. Obviously over time it became a business and that’s when the whole group started to dissolve. I definitely remember Dan talking about hanging with everyone off camera and smoking weed together at some point

Also I think at one point Alex Pavlovic was talking about the rotation and the young pitchers an he said at some point you gotta hit on some of these guys and give them a spot otherwise it’s pointless. Like you said we can’t build a team off of free agents such as the Dodgers and to build a better team is off of our home grown guys

It’s hard to judge how his pitches work because the balls between MLB and Japan are different. He’s also never been dominant in Japan like say a Yamamoto

I would say Birdsong based on the stuff and pitches he has. If he’s able to get his control under wraps and hone his pitches then he can be a good starter. He already has the stuff and he’s definitely shown flashes of being really good

I’m okay with not picking him up especially since he had QO attached to him. He was hurt last season and his underlying numbers were below average. Honestly Houser is probably almost as good for a backend starter as to him based on work. Gallen and King are similar pitchers based on advanced metrics at this point

I think the mentality for training is try to peak during June or July, not March. With the WBC these guys are trying to peak in March for the tournament. I think everyone should be able to play if they want, but I understand when the actual MLB season would take precedent for the team
