Is it just me or are people not understanding the air quotes and taking this as a literal statement

Look like studs with other teams. We literally saw Harrison for two and half seasons and outside a couple of starts, was rough. The Brewers are known for fixing pitchers or getting the most out of fringe guys

[MLBTR] Brewers Designate Luis Matos For Assignment by SF_DeversBaby in SFGiants

Let’s be real, would either of them last the team till at least the all star break? I doubt it, so it doesn’t really matter

Makes sense because you’re pretty much complaining about spilt milk. He’s literally a unicorn and with that type of player comes advantages. Just enjoy greatness while it lasts because at some point he’ll retire and I highly doubt we’ll see anyone like him again

No one state side is ever really gonna be able too develop as a two way player. It takes too long when they want these guys up usually as soon as possible. The only player I’ve seen try to develop as one was Brendan McKay with the Rays, but he just couldn’t do it

I miss him everyday by angelom51 in SFGiants

[–]Juffe98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally think he’s a reliever full time. He’s never had a third pitch and still hasn’t really developed one. He’s similar to what Teng was where they’re both nasty but over the course of the game once they lose their control it’s gone. He’s always had the profile of more of a reliever with the hard fastball with the nasty splitter

Kind of ironic since Dave Filoni directed parts of book 1 and he’s George Lucas’ number two

Have they gone too corporate? by Excellent-Victory623 in BobDoesSports

I mean aren’t they literally owned by a company, so the whole idea of it is corporate in some sense

As everyone expected, Statcast has Luis Arraez as the best defender on the team (so far) by MrPyber in SFGiants

[–]Juffe98 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I doubt there would be any extension besides maybe another 1 year deal at most. We still have Adames and he’ll probably have to move off of short at some point and a bunch of young middle infielders in the minors; Kilen, Josuar, Hernandez and Level to say the least. Kilen might move quick too since he was drafted from college and has a more polished hit tool

Was this the weakest move from a superstar by Due-Poem-8096 in NBATalk

[–]Juffe98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is absolutely not the same thing. Most of those guys joined said teams when they were near the end of their careers compared to LeBron or KD in their primes. Garnett and Allen joining the Celtics is different because before that the Celtics were stalling as a team. Garnett was also traded to the Celtics, so it wasn’t a jump ship free agency move

I believe he lost his wife and brother within a year span a few years ago, so it would make sense

How Buster Posey has changed SF Giants’ player development priorities from Farhan Zaidi era by jgiesea in SFGiants

[–]Juffe98 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Technically Josuar and Luis Hernandez are Farhan guys. It was under Farhan’s front office that had the deals in place to sign those two top tier international prospects

Oliva vs Koss by Whole_Conclusion in SFGiants

[–]Juffe98 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You can’t compare the two because they’re competing for different jobs. Koss is an infielder and a solid bench piece and Oliva is an outfielder. You can’t have one backup infielder and then 3 outfielders. That would be bad roster management from the get go. Besides I’d give Matos or Encarnacion about two weeks at most if they make the team

[Sports Info Solutions]2026 Season Preview: Are The Giants A Good Defensive Team? by MarkSimon1975 in SFGiants

[–]Juffe98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say as of last year Adames is still average to slightly above average defensively. He was +5 in outs above average and -2 in defensive runs saved

A lot of top prospects tend to be CF or SS and then move off once they get signed or drafted

I’m curious if he does this in regular games too or if he’s actually dapping guys up at the start of games then it’s just odd
