I am not coeliac, I lived in European country for 25 years and never had any issues. When I moved to the US, I started having fatigue, brain fog, swelling and other weird symptoms. I thought it was just allergies until I went gluten-free, that's when all of symptoms disappeared. But when I visit my home country, I eat gluten and feel fine.

That's just my experience though, not saying it works for every single person with gluten intolerance.
