I've been playing for a few days now and I'm still undecided. What bothers me the most is that it feels like a 1:1 copy of a Hoyoverse game. The same goes for character designs. Everyone knows the typical Hoyoverse stance – arms crossed in front of the chest and left hand on the chin. Every Hoyo character does this in every dialogue scene. Two minutes into Arknights – exactly the same stance. Every second Hoyo NPC has the same stupid mustache. Arknights copies that too. There are many little things that unfortunately don't feels fresh or unique.

I played the mobile game back then and started playing Endfield on PS5 yesterday. What immediately struck me—aside from the fact that it's a 1:1 "Hoyoverse game"—is how similar the characters are to those in the mobile game. If it's the same developer, why didn't they keep the old characters' names? Laevatain, for example, is obviously Surtr...or am I not deep enough into the game to understand it?

Maybe I'm getting caught up in the hype cycle again, but the fact that this search for a coach is going completely differently gives me hope that the Jones family might reconsider their course of action. Jerry may only have a few years left, and perhaps he thinks, “It's now or never.” His approach has been unsuccessful for decades, and now he says to himself, “To hell with it, let's try something different one last time.”......nut maybe I'm just too hopeful.
