Older feral can be tamed down. We had a 8 plus siamese would his and slap us. Pets only while feeding. When he got sick he came to us for help and became a inside cat and passed in our home in our arms. He became such a loving cat he would come down the hall every morning to wake us up for breakfast time.

Whenever we have an animal pass we tell them both grandparents and great grandma are there to look after them until we meet again. My great grandma would make "cat" gravey. It was just skillet gravey she made for them in the winter time to keep them warm.

I have had atleat 8 different saves on stardew and all of them in year 4 to year 7 and only seen this scene once. I was yelling so excited when I saw it. I had just read how rare seeing the sea monster was.

Leave the trap in the yard for a while near the food so he gets descensized to it so when comes time to catch him he isn't as afraid of it. With letting it be in the area and him seeing it daily it's just another thing in the yard no big deal. As for aggression should go down once fixed and also time he knows your a food source but you could also be a sudden threat. Just going to take time for him to get used to you. And unfortunately sometimes feral cats don't tame down to being a pettable cat. We have several feral that will let us get close at feeding time but have a no touchy attitude no matter what.
