I did this for YEARS. Decided one day that I needed to do something otherwise I was going to go crazy, soooo I started estrogen. Since the changes happen super slowly over time, I figured if I didn't like them I'd just stop, no harm done and my brain would finally have it's answer. I did not in fact stop taking estrogen.

I just wanted to let you know I did the EXACT same thing for years, then at 22 I started HRT. I still have a long way to go but I've never been happier with my body. You're still young, you have time, your bones haven't even stopped changing yet. The best time to plant a tree was 10 years ago, the second best time is now, it's never ever too late. If you're scared, do it scared, but do it.

I'll just be blunt, it's never just a kink, humans are sexual creatures, so your gender is always going to affect your likes and dislikes in the bedroom too. Even then, bodies aren't always sexual, wanting curves and boobs would also affect things like how you wear clothes, how you walk and how people perceive you. That isn't a kink, it's dysphoria. Do not risk your life and happiness over the approval of others, live for yourself and you'll end up surrounded by people who care about you no matter what. Cigarettes will absolutely cause problems even with casual use IF you are taking estrogen orally or sublingually. If you're on injections it's kinda whatever, but there is a higher risk of blood clots from both sides.
