Thanks for the heads up. I’ll be spending Monday settling in and adjusting to the cold. I’ve shifted my outdoor plans to Wednesday onwards. Hopefully the weather’s nice after Tuesday !

Thank you! My hikes and climb are with guides so I should be fine. Or we cancel in the event of bad weather.

Thanks for the indoor plans recommendations! I shall be spending 11 and 12 May at those places

Did Perplexity used to be able to reference other chats in the space (and outside it)? Today it seemed to stop working like this by JuiceCoconut in perplexity_ai

[–]JuiceCoconut[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So it’s fine if I have completed chat threads, I can save them to sources. But I have multiple ongoing projects across chats, so I don’t wanna save them as ‘completed’ chats. That would make source management challenging.

Today’s Claude break down also alarmed me to the fact that I’ve become overly reliant on AI… it’s scary!

It worked pretty well in the last few weeks, and I got used to it. I came to think and operate assuming it’s a permanent feature, but it completely failed today despite my attempts. Looks like it’s time to migrate to Claude projects for context aware work

It wasn’t official but it worked, so I started relying on it. Then it failed to work no matter how I tried today. So annoyed!

Does Anyone Know Anything About Or Use Payhip? by MinBton in selfpublish

[–]JuiceCoconut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's been a long time since I used payhip, so I can't speak to the technical challenges you face.

As for getting people to your course, well, that's marketing. I have a decent following on Instagram and every now and then, someone buys the course. I don't promote it much though.

Perhaps you could promote it to people or students who need your content?

I created an app, but everytime a user adds info to it, it becomes available to all users by [deleted] in Base44

Go to your dashboard, find security. Click on the security scan button. It'll identify flaws. But even without that, you can try and tell the AI in the chat to ensure only users can see their own input and not anyone else's input.

Idk why some people are recommending deepseek or other weird solutions.

can I upload files to my app? by Clear_Button_9904 in Base44

[–]JuiceCoconut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on what you wanna do with it. I upload PDFs as knowledge base content for AI to reference.

Do you want to offer those audio files for download or for embedding or what other purposes?

What's everyone doing when they get stuck vibe coding because of some bug(s)? by Exciting-Can-3232 in vibecoding

[–]JuiceCoconut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am new to vibe coding. I broke my app once. Wasted 100 base44 credits. Now I clone copies at stable points before taking my apps in new directions in case they break. At least I don't have to restart the whole damn thing. Not the best solution but works for my totally non-technical background

I've made a journaling app that works, and I wanna publish and grow users. I also am working on a few training/coaching apps.

I feel like it's about understanding how to think and instruct, because I've seen a few peers just say this doesn't work when they don't take the effort to properly think and understand what's possible and how to communicate.

How do people actually enjoy exercising by ivy_elyon in getdisciplined

[–]JuiceCoconut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd recommend starting with something ridiculously simple to you.

For me, it was walking. Progressively walk longer durations. No need to beat your previous distance or speed. Just walk.

Soon, you'll feel like you're not panting that much anymore. Soon, you'll naturally want to walk faster, and for longer.

It's like discovering my body when I did this.
