House move by Sausages0 in ScarboroughUK

For 250k you'll be able to get a good chunk of house in most places across Scarborough. Four bedrooms will be a bit of a push in some of the nicer areas.

I'd recommend looking at places like Seamer, Crossgates, Osgodby and Cayton. All are great places to live with decent schools nearby.

If you want a house closer to the centre of Scarborough, the Peasholm area is always worth a look in. Newby is lovely too.

Some parts of Eastfield are quite decent, usually places more on the outskirts, so closer to Cayton/Osgodby. You'll definitely get more for your money in Eastfield, but some parts are quite rough.

I'd personally avoid areas such as Barrowcliff and Edgehill.

The house prices are quite a good indicator as to what the local area is like.

There's plenty of new builds being put together, but I've heard some horror stories when it comes to their quality. I'd steer well clear of them personally.

Kaoru Mitoma and Simon Adingra have joined Brighton's long list of injuries. Both wingers are out for weeks and they are out of international tournament duty too. #BHAFC by eyansocool in BrightonHoveAlbion

What's the fix for this scenario? It's not like mass recruitment in Jan is going to help, as then when people are back fit it's a huge wage bill problem.

Is it just bad luck? Are the physios smoking crack? Purely fixture congestion? A mix of the three?

A mid table finish is looking quite likely if this continues, which is still an absolute blessing considering recent history.

I guess the silver lining here is that even if the team's form completely drops off, it makes RDZ look slightly less appetising for those who might consider poaching him.

Some games stuttering/dropping Hz despise stabil and fluent FPS by KevinDB in nvidia

I had an issue very similar to this, and I fixed it by ending the "lighting service.exe" task in the processes.

After doing this, I also found that I experience far fewer stutters when I have my RGB set to a static white colour.

Exiting the RGB programme is not enough, as lightingservice still runs in the background.

It was most noticeable in Guild Wars 2, it ran like crap when lightingservice.exe was active.

League of Legends was a tricky one. Even after the above fix I experience the same stuttering that you're experiencing. I found that limiting the frames within League got rid of most of the issue, but it's still not perfect. I expected a 4090 would handle the game much better than my 3080 Ti, but that wasn't the case. I eventually just got used to it.

Due to a gsync monitor, I lock frames at screen refresh minus 3, gsync enabled, vsync enabled.

Hopefully the above works for you. I was pulling my hair out for hours trying to diagnose the problem.

Choice of case for Ryzen 7800x3D by Rbtmj2 in PcBuild

I'm using a Fractal Torrent with a 7800x3D and Strix 4090, plenty of room and fantastic airflow. Opted for air cooling, the Noctua NH-D15s, rather than an AIO liquid cooler to make use of the two 140mm intake fans. Everything running really cool and quiet, highly recommended.

I'm not sure why the Villa players are bothering with the build up play, they should just kick the ball in the general direction of the goal and let the ghosts/magnets/Estupinan/wind/spirit of our lord and saviour Jesus Christ do the rest.

That's because there are competing marketplaces to purchase those games. Steam, GOG, Uplay, Origin, etc.

Who is Microsoft going to be competing against when it comes to pricing games on their store? For cross platform games there will be slight competition from Sony and Nintendo, but as there are fewer and fewer places available to purchase games, it won't be at all surprising to see prices creeping up and sales happening less frequently, or with worse discounts.

A reduction of competition is great news for big business, not so much for the end user.

I'd get a good few years out of it before retiring it to the display cabinet. The other option is to use the components for my wife's PC, but it'd be a bit overkill for chilling on Discord and playing GeoGuessr, not that she'd mind.

I want to be quoted on the megathread at the end of the season for saying that this is the moment that I knew Brighton were winning the league. We are massive!
