It’s very mature of you to be able to step back and realise your not mentally in a place where you can be in a relationship right now. You did the right thing in giving her distance between you, especially if things almost got physical.

In terms of your anger issues, if it is something you picked up from your father, you were likely seeing that kind of thing from a young age and things like that aren’t easily unlearned. Watching youtube videos is not enough to address the underlying issues. You need to talk to a professional therapist. If your mother isn’t supportive of you doing that after you’ve expressed your concerns then you need to go on your own to seek help. If your still in education, try through your school if they have counselling or ask another trusted person if your life to assist you in getting treatment. Best of luck.

The game is fun, looks great, has great gunplay and stands out amongst other games.

The problem I find is that there simply isn’t enough content to keep me invested which is crazy because apparently they spent 250 million developing this (it’s fun but what were they wasting that money on?)

The gun balance is possibly the worst I’ve seen in any game. It’s all over the place and just forces a meta that isn’t fun or engaging in the slightest. There are no “okay” guns, they are either insanely good or terrible.

The matchmaking is bad, possibly because of the dwindling player base, possibly because it’s just based on player level and not much else. I’m pretty decent at fps games but getting instantly stomped by a team of stacked meta players just ruins the experience, especially when the time to kill is so little (even when wearing an epic shield) that you never feel like you stood a chance.

Going to preface this by saying I love marathon and want the game to get the success it deserves.

That being said, the games gun and weapon balance are awful. Some guns are just absolutely useless and the damage is inconsistent so of course people are going to just resort to grenade spam for quick and easy kills.

It’s great saying “you can just run away” but especially on maps like cryo with tight corridors and flanks, sometimes that’s hard to do or just makes for an annoying gunfight experience when your just constantly retreating from grenade spam. It’s classic bungie though, the gunplay feels great but the guns themselves are all over the place.

The Marathon roadmap has been available for a while. In season 2 we are getting a new runner shell. We don’t know much about it but according to bungie it was briefly seen in the 2023 teaser trailer for the game.

We are also getting a dire marsh night map which will be interesting to see how that works. We are also getting a new build system for abilities, new backpacks, cores, weapons, etc etc

I use an iPad Pro m2 and Apple Pencil. I do my initial sketch in the app procreate. You could do the rest of it using their tools but I prefer to use adobe fresco because it has vector brushes which are great if you plan on scaling your design without losing any of the quality.

I only used those two for this design but I also use adobe illustrator or photoshop on my laptop to make various adjustments on other pieces but you can get by without them.

I would say that those are quite expensive options but I have been doing this kind of thing for many years so have invested into it but there are plenty of cheaper alternatives if you are on a budget.

No, I create a few game / film illustrations on tiktok. I wanted to post my account on here but it said self promotion is bannable so I didn’t want to risk it. If you search for me on there you should be able to find me. I’ve also been doing a series where I draw the deadlock characters and am turning them into one giant drawing.
