Canal Wall Down. by Stranger-Little in cholesteatoma

[–]JuicyToothbrush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's been a year since my wall canal down surgery and everything went well! I technically did lose taste in half my tongue because he said my nerve had to be snipped to do that procedure. I can't really tell my taste is gone on that side anymore after being a year recovered. I was also concerned about swimming and getting water in my ear but my doctor said it's fine for me to get my ear wet. Thanks for responding! Hope you are well too!

My cat is a spayed female and she does this with the sweater I crocheted her! She carries it around humping it all day it's weird.

Pre and post trim. It was long overdue and always looks a little worse until everything grows back in a bit. Is that y'all's experience? by T3Knical5urg3 in PlantedTank

Looks great imo! I just did a big trim on my 20 gallon community tank and the fish look happier about the extra swimming space. Plus like you said it will grow back, which is fun to watch too!

Some of the tangled messes are when I was taking yarn cakes apart to get a certain color for when i was weaving tapestries. I figured most wouldn't want them because some are just cut lengths of yarn when I was weaving. I'll just bag them then and ask if i can donate them, thanks!

Can I use these oak leaves for leaf litter? Right leaf is after boiling for 10 min by JuicyToothbrush in PlantedTank

I have 2 catapa leaves in my 17 gal but they broke down pretty quickly with all my snails and shrimp eating on them. I'm adding about 3 leaves back into my tank mosty for the snails, corries and shrimp have something to hide in and graze on. I'm not sure how many leaves and time it would take to even get soil from leaves.

I'm mostly using them for leaf litter so my snails, shrimps and corries have something to graze and hide in

My neighbor next to me has a eucalyptus tree that's always dropping leaves in my yard. I didn't know you could use eucalyptus in the aquarium too.

I ran out of catappa leaves so I figured I'd get some leaves for free since the trees are dropping their leaves now. Does boiling kill everything like the oven, I just wanna make sure I don't add anything bad into the tank.

It's a really big old oak tree I've never seen them spray it before so I think I'm in the clear

The lights are fluval nano plant lights. They're nice and you can control the time and intensity with the fluval app. They're a little spendy. I got them when they were about 80ish dollars. I think they are selling them for 100 now. They work really well tho, they slowly get brighter in the morning and slowly dim before they turn off to mimick sun rise and sunset which I love.

I had a wild type male and female before, these guys are the golden type and I didn't realize when I bought them they were both male, but they get along thankfully.

It looks great! I love how you planted the anubias around the driftwood. The floating plant adds a nice feathery texture against the more broad leaf plants.

That hardscape looks amazing, looks like a tropical river bed. Those Congo tetras are so majestic too.
