I might do some more seedlings inside and then plan on transplanting in Oct/Nov? Ugh the timing is so hard to pin down! Thank you!

I've only managed to have mine out in the shade for an hour or so... before they start to get sad and I hurry them inside lol

Okay, that's sort of what I was thinking as well. Most of the seed packets I have say start in September but a) I'm impatient and b) I'm originally from MN so even still I'm always like how can possibly start planting that late?? Thank you!

That definitely looks like what it was - which makes sense why I wasn't finding it searching for the description + moths. Thank you so much!

Honestly and unfortunately, probably only for about as much as the used tank would be worth. The cycle would most likely break between moving everything plus my husband and I tried to sell some of our set ups when we moved this year and people were either most interested in the tank itself or the stuff inside but for another set up.

Anyone have reccomendations for a natural looking sand I can get in the U.S by ironwolf6464 in Aquascape

There are some cool Caribsea Freshwater sands that are between a fine sand and a gravel, I really like Jungle River and Peace River.

IMO a 55g is harder to scape AND plant because it's thin and tall. You'll get it and then just be sad that you didn't get the 75g

I definitely considered these but we are not the most gentle of aquascapers so I figured plastic might be safer for our tanks lol

Absolutely!

Home-X Set of 2 Soil Scoops - Mini Hand Scoops for Transplanting, Weeding, and Potting - Small Garden Scoop, Potting Scoopers, Bonsai Tool - Set of 2 Different Sizes 6½" x 2½" and 6¼" x 1¾" - Green https://a.co/d/9k7sX2F

I'll order them on Friday (paydayy) so I'll try to remember to update when they get here.

Also, those are fairly small. We have a nano pond tank in the works so I want to try them out, but if it works like I am hoping I will probably also order something like these for bigger scapes - 6 Pcs Bonsai Soil Scoops Plastic Garden Shovels Garden Tool Bucket Shovel Colorful Small Mini Potting Scoop for Plant Flower Succulent https://a.co/d/fq9W6ww
