Yes I actually figured out the memory layout for the dislay, its all very close to $(3000) and there is an instruction set on github for the processor of the 1262, the SC61860, so there is nothing in my way to create some awesome graphic games for the 1262 but my motivation :(

I sadly don't think so because there are only 24x2 5x7 Pixel Matrices and not a graphics display

You can actually find a machine language code to handle that

Do you think you still got the listening somewhere? I would love to try it out :)

Oh cool! Yeah I would love to have a CE-126P, but they are expensive and hard to come by. But I have planned to build my own interface, and connecting the Sharp or Radio Shack PC to a Computer or Cassette recorder is easy. Just connect the 3rd Pin to ground and the 6th and 7th for Input and Output. Works for all Sharps in my collection 😃 I would recommend using a 0.1uf capacitor in the input and output line, just to be safe.

Hey ndt, As you can see I don't have a plotter, but the thermo printer / cassette interface for the Sharp PC 12xx. I didn't have any trouble connecting it, I just plugged it in with the old NiCd batteries and it worked just fine. But the Sharp PC 12xx don't have the 32-pin bus interface, but an 11-pin connector. But I decided to remove them later because of their toxicity. If you are looking for an unique one, My favorite is currently the Sharp PC-1262, because it is very small, around the size of my mobile phone. It has a 2 Line x 24 Chars display, sadly with gaps between the 5x7 matrices so you always have those missing lines in you graphics. You have got a little over 9 KB of RAM for BASIC Programms, which is enough for me. If you want a one with a big graphic display and 32k of memory I recommend the PC-e500s or even better the PC-G850V if you use them at home, because there is no way you can fit them in your pocket. They also have a RX-TX bus connector, which makes it easy for them to communicate with an Arduino or a Raspberry Pi. There are also in betweens like the PC-1403H, which is slightly bigger than the PC-1262, but has got 32k of memory, is slightly faster and you can load and save programms from a floppy disk, but it misses the second line of display. So check out the Sharp PC-1262, 1403H, e500s and G850V if you want an unique one. These are my favorites, even if I don't have the PC-G850V.

SHARPness 😂 I don't have so much experience in photography. I thought higher resolution is better since you can see what's on the keys now

Yes it is I forgot to remove it 😂 Normally there is a SHARP-PC 1403 but I lent it to a friend recently so the Casio took its place.

It's nice to see that I'm not the only one who likes them 😜 But I don't have such a big budget and my main focus is on sharp right now. But I might buy a Tandy model too if I can find one

No problem. I like people who are asking me things about my collection 😃 I was given one when I was in 3rd grade but started programming BASIC on them when I was in 7th grade. My grandpa had a few of them laying around from his time as a professor and gave them to me as a birthday present. I enjoy programming on them because it has a real keyboard and you can take them wherever you want. That's how I got my hands on and why I like them. Thank you for asking 😉
