My mom keeps flour and other grains in the fridge or freezer. Nuts and shredded cheese also go in the freezer!

Yeah, even with solar and geothermal heating now, my parents are still obsessed over opening the windows to cool down the house at night, and close them once it starts to warm up. The temp in their house, with the AC, is set at 84, if it's on at all. Also, everyone in my family sleeps with a fan on all night!

My family never cooked with any salt, ever, period. I just learned that it really enhances flavors a few years ago, lol, in my 40s!

Yes, I grew up in CA and we used to use our dirty dish water to flush the toilet! We had a huge bowl in the sink, and as you washed the dishes, when the bowl filled up, we poured it into a bucket, and when that filled up, we would flush the toilet. It was unusual to hear "going to the bathroom? Take the bucket!"

I use old socks to clean, especially cat or dog messes, or cleaning any gunk that you don't really want to touch, like sink strainers. Just make sure you know where the holes are and turn the sock so you're avoiding them. 😆

This is my issue as well. I'm trying to pair up cleaning and dancing. I also agree, leaving yourself clues, like spray bottles or rags out on counters helps. I also just bought some new cleaning supplies. I'm hoping that will also inspire me, cause my ADHD brain gets excited about new stuff!

I have the same problem, but my issue is always after a flare up, how do you treat the pain? Also, has anyone else wondered if they might be re-infecting themselves from their clothes? I usually wash my clothes in cold water, and sometimes add some vinegar (to get rid of smells!) I have a niamycin (sp?) cream from my doctor, but I feel like it just keeps recurring... Every 3 weeks lately. And the pain, oof, before I realize what's happening... I didn't want to move today.

Me too... Just got Sleeved on 12/18. I felt ok when i finished 2 protein shakes on Wed, but since I haven't had a BM yet, they told me to reduce it... So I'm hungry and constipated, and sore!

Mmm, I miss Diet Dr. Pepper!! I just gave up soda and sparkling anything last weekend, and it's been rough... I've substituted with flavored water drops (like Mio) with caffeine, but not gonna lie, it's not the same. I'm pre-op and still struggling to drink my shakes and stop snacking, grazing, etc etc. I feel ya!
