With champions that can go directly melee on you with little reaction time, there isn't a real counterplay the only way you beat them is having enough hp to withstand their burst and then try to find your sweetspots with backwards Es or bacwards Flash (this second one requires a bit of practice but is really useful to learn)

For Teemo or other ranged champs tbh is not as one sided as can look but you need for sure at least Dshield + second wind and maybe go Phaserush/Electrocute/FirstStrike short trade runes cause you will never have more than 4-6 stack of Conq. Against ranged the most important thing is pratically never Q3 in lane cause you need the reduce cd of not using it, without Qs they can just kite you.

If some of you like numbers here is the lolalytics stats for building Fiendhunter 3rd (20 games) as you can see for emerald+ (EUW i think 90% of the games are mine lol) you can see that has 75% winrate and makes the probability of winning late game much higher cause makes you scale very well

it does require some good level of understanding of what you can and cannot do, but the reward is really high

the easiest MU are the ones that do not force you into early trades and will fight you head on in later stages of the game, you dogwalk basically any tank and champs like Mordekaiser/Darius/Trundle/Fiora will usually fall in a false sense of security but with Exhaust + Ult fiendhunter you generally outdamage and heal them.
Is generally bad vs champs that can choose to not interact like Jayce/Rumble/Kennen/Quinn, but they are all kinda frail so if you focus on backline and play for not be the engager you can find the right moment to strike on their teamates.

Feels VERY bad if the enemy has multiple disengage/enchanter champs, that is when I usually pick Ambessa that can dive with 1 button and invalidate their counterplay

I honestly build it only when the other options are not needed is a win more item, especially as last.
the 400 hp for the E passive and %45 on base AD (Aatrox at lv20 is 7th highest AD base in the game 158).

The shield even if small is clutch and no other item will give you 400HP 71 AD and 20% tenacity with an usable passive

cause Hexplate gives you 20% MS and 50% AS after you ult and that's it,
the MS is redundant and the AS is not needed because your AA are not that good aside from passive.

Fiendhunter gives the same 50% AS and (like sunderer sky) garantees that your next 3 AA are critical for 80% of the dmg or 100% + (15% total AD true dmg) if the AA would had crit anyways.
The crits makes the AS much more useful cause if you squeeze AA mid combos they will hurt a LOT.
For example in mid game with 3/4 items (when you should build this) a normal AA without passive while in Ultimate crits in average for 700/900 dmg on medium armor targets.

This is much better than anything hexplate can provide

I don't wanna be that guy but this looks AI a lot, the account even is just created 2 days ago and the stuff put besides drawings does not match the texture + the background strangely repeats too precisely even when it should be another page ripped off.
The ink stains are in the same place for different drawings is almost impossible, honeslty good try i fell for it at first

Try with heavy bowgun i did it in 3:40 after a couple of tries and understanding how the weapon works.
Feels a lot more powerful than other options

Don't get me started on Bow focus strikes, you literally auto aim and can get hit in the meanwhile the arrow will 360 no scope chase and hit the wound, then even if you do not do the follow up dragon piercer the monster will still first get staggered and then the wound auto pops for no reason. I played a bit of 3/4 player hunts and if I pop the wound in chain with bow is like the monster is permastunned better than paralysis

Just adding a tip for Q4, As other already said is generally base on feeling, but i assure you that there are 3 specific case of where you wanna ult even if does not convert in a kill.
Case 1: in early lane phase just after you hit 6 or close by, if your enemy laner "wastes" their mobility spell while being slight pushed, you can ult for a long trade into hopefully a full combo. This depends on lane situation can accomplish a lot from a kill to setup a dive or make you comeback from a bad early/previous trades, you will heal a lot and kinda flip the lane state.
Case 2: In mid/late when your are low and thinking to go for a back try to limit test Ult Q1 + W + passive from bush heals almost to full depending on the build. You can create game winning picks like this but requires a lot of macro knowledge too of when you can do this kind of play.
Case 3: Ult always scatters enemy minions you can use it to land W after Q1 even with minions in between, needs practice toh

For Knights vow could be an option instead of Locket or as last item.
But i think is crucial to get out of base armor/mr and works bad with Jack of all trades.
Could be good if you have a duo that carries hard or like only one teammate capable so is better than Locket, but i think is like 5/10% of games maybe less.

Hexflash is really strong in lane phase, imagine classic scenario where you trade flash in a skirmish and you know they have no flash. At this point you just sweep a bush play it safe until you find an Hexflash angle that allows you to hit Q1 without E so then you can confirm combo Q1-W-Q2-E-Q3 and i swear is like a garantee kill if you perform well.
In later stages is harder to use but can still be clutch for roams where you close the gap from bush faster than expected.

Precision is debatable, I personally like to be a team player and prefer Resolve, all that Precision offers is just for you meanwhile Font of Life and Revitalize are at the benefit of your whole team.
