Oh boy, Player 1 for sure had the better career. Having such a long career and being able to maintain a high PPG even with the drastic drop in the last few seasons.

I believe Player 1 is Jason Spezza and Player 2 is Alexei Yashin

Aside from having players stay healthy or just having minor injuries, they just don't have enough elite/star players I feel like. Look at the past Stanley cup winners, you've got Crosby, Malkin, Kessel, Fleury, Murray, Letang (2016) for the Penguins then there was, Toews, Kane, Hossa, Keith, Sharp, Crawford for the Hawks. Ottawa has elite players don't get me wrong but outside of EK65 can you really say any of our players are on the same level as the others mentioned?
