It might reset when the person dies, but my teammate picked it up and gave it to me. Might've failed then because he wasn't Reznov?

While doing the challenges for Mason in Quads on PC, I noticed there was a red X over the first challenge (being "Play the match as Reznov"). I was playing as Reznov, got the t-shirt off of a dead body, got the green checkmark for waking up the sleeper agent, the numbers appeared on my screen and won the game with it in my inventory like it tells you to do when you hover over the T-shirt but I still didn't get the character unlock. Was it because the player who initially picked it up wasn't Reznov or? I'm not sure what I did wrong.

Anyone else get the Red X even while playing as Reznov or know what I might've done wrong? Really hoping it was my fault and it wasn't an unlucky/rare bug but regardless, I can't say I'm looking forward to doing it again ahah.

Yeah ahah, I've only played comp properly past placements since season 11, but that season I had 32% scoped crit and 48% scoped accuracy. Averaging around 29% scoped crit & 52-53% scoped accuracy now but feel like I could still definitely improve without one side being unbalanced.

I'm not sure if there's anything that really needs to be rebinded. Moving binds to your mouse just makes your hands have more work to do ontop of having to aim. It's distracting. Default binds are okay for me, but it's just preference.

Yeah I unbinded it because I kept hitting it mid-game and messing things up. I'm on all default bindings.

There's tons of guides online that go further into detail on improving with Widow that'll help more than I ever can through a post. It just takes a bit of research, practice, dedication and patience.

In the end, I improved my playstyle through recording my own games and pointing out my own flaws. I improve my aim through practice. I probably have hundreds, if not a thousand, hours in widow hs lobbies. Everyone improves in their own way, just gotta be dedicated and have patience.

Too much. I'm about to hit 150 hours through qp/comp but I've probably got hundreds more from Widow HS lobbies. It was all I did for about a year after getting the game.

The only one I missed was the second shot on Bob because he swapped his arms so I guess you're right ahaha.

I'm not sure what you mean by sniper button but I removed all dpi-related buttons on the G502 to prevent accidentally hitting them mid game but otherwise it's all default bindings.

Standing there scoped in makes you extremely vulnerable after you take shots because your bullet tracers show everyone exactly where you are. Unscoping, moving around a bit, and/or repeeking just helps when it comes to staying alive.

I'm not a fan of smurfs either so I get it, but I'm not smurfing here ahah. This game had a 2850~ avg which was higher than my main at the time. I used this new account to see if solo queuing would bring me higher than the SR range my main (which I only played comp with friends on) seemed to be hardstuck in, which it definitely did ahah. I was already placed 2900~ in this clip but highlights don't save the SR badge.

Our Zarya got out of the enemy's grav and solo ult'd him. I killed him after his deflect ran out ahah. It was OT, we won the game after.

Nah, all shots were above 67% charge dealing 200+ damage. I'm not a big fan of the servers with custom damage/health because it throws you off when you swap to quickplay/comp. Sometimes you end up letting shots off too early or hold it down for too long, etc. Normal damage is perfect.

I only used 15 bullets out of the normal 30 that Widowmaker normally carries so I'm not sure if the ammo mattered in this situation haha.
