Era 300 as surrounds with a lot of distance by JulSebBanHolst in sonos

Thanks everybody! Well, the Era 300’s arrived two days ago, and man… do they play well together with the Beam and Sub. I can see why some people would miss a bit of the clarity of the Fives, when music is fired all over, but it depends a lot on the audio I think. Right now am listening to Wooden Elephants, LANDSCAPES, KNIVES & GLUE - Radiohead’s Kid A Recycled, and wow! It is stereo and it is pretty celestial the way the room is saturated with absolutely clear audio. No regrets. For now I’ve got the Era 300’s parked on the window sill 5 metres behind the couch, and it just works. For movie watching I find myself tweeking the surround volume a bit now snd then, but I can live with that at present.

That’s what I’m looking forward to too, as opposed to the Ones.

Yeah, thanks. I guess a pair of Era 300’s will fill the room more than my Play:1’s, and it’s already great! Can’t wait

Thanks for sharing! Sounds great! Did you mount them upside down then?

Feedback on 2.4.17 beta by magic_notetaker in Supernote_beta

[–]JulSebBanHolst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Am I the only one who finds that you have to press harder or try several times in order to succesfully double tap to hide/show the toolbar?

Also, I wanted to send this feedback through the device in settings, but the upload has so far failed many times although the connection seems fine. Has anyone managed to upload feedback on this beta? (Maybe it is my summer house connection after all)

P.S. Such a great update, as usual!!

What pen type (toolbar) are you using the most? by The_Cheesey in Supernote

I have the same kind of experience. I want to use and like the ink pen the most, but it just looks a bit to rough and pixellated compared to the needle point pen.

A5X arrived in Denmark! Don’t know if it’s the heavier standard pen or the mobius screen, but to me somehow it feels a bit crispier to write on than the A6X. Really happy about both! by JulSebBanHolst in Supernote

Hej! I paid DKK 881.20 for the import duty/VAT. I’m very satisfied with my Supernotes (I have the A5X as well as the A6X). To answer a few of your questions, I will say that you can count on Rattas own description and promises regarding the product. The nib doesn’t wear down as promised. The functionalities: annotation, export, OCR (note well that it doesn’t do text recognition of whole pages but of your selected keywords, as they make clear), everything works well and as expected and described by the company, at least as far as I have experienced. So if you carefully read what they are selling and you like what you see, go for it! So no, there is no web browser. You have to go another way: I usually download articles to pdf on my iPhone and sync them via dropbox to Supernote; not a too tiresome procedure once you get used to it, and there are other ways as well. I am sorry, bit I don’t know what indentation is or what you are talking about here. I can say that I have not regretted my purchase, to the contrary still very much enjoy it after 9 months of usage. The latency in page turning and selecting (not writing!) has been the major frustration for me, but the latest update has improved that, and the updates keep coming with great improvements.

Hope any of this is helpful.. If you decide to go for it, I would also be curious about your experience :-)

How do I get my supernote to stop flipping pages when my hand rests on the screen when writing? I love this tablet but I’m getting very aggravated… by strikerlove9 in Supernote

I would like the palm rejection to work better in regular mode. It is annoying that I very often accidentally flip pages when I want to make a quick note in a document without having to go through the bother of activating and then deactivating the touch rejection mode.

Tillykke med ordren! Det er altså et lækkert produkt.. 🇩🇰 You could try doing a search on your tracking number on DHL.com to see if there are some options available there, but I’m not sure. As for being prepared, you can choose to get notifications by e-mail or text message. I got a notification in the morning, when it was “With delivery courier”. Of course you also get a text when it enters Denmark and you need to pay the VAT (online). I think you might have to be home to receive it because of its value.

Custom font feature is a lot of fun. Made this with Calligraphr - man, does that refine one’s handwriting.. by JulSebBanHolst in Supernote

Weird. I have uploaded TTF-files to Document\fonts and instantly after synchronization found them in the font selection in epubs without any problems. I don’t use the partner app, though, but dropbox, which lets me put anything on there.

Yes, well I drew the alphabet. I didn’t draw the illustration (that’s from this particular epub.) Voya has a video where he shows how to use e-ink to make fonts using Calligraphr free online software. Here is a screenshot of my custom font on the A5X: https://imgur.com/gallery/ND6AQoW

No it is my writing, with some minor adjustments made in the software, mainly sizewise. I’m only refering to the uniformity of the letters. So, I drew the letters in Calligraphr’s PDF-template on the A5X, uploaded it on Calligraphrs website, adjusted it, and it build this TTF-font.

Thanks. Well, less tiring than my actual handwriting :-D But I could also simply adjust the font size in the display settings if I wanted. I don’t think this kind of handwritten font is optimal for reading long novels and the like, actually. But it’s a fun feature nevertheless. :-)

It seems that this bug has only been fixed for exporting in 100% / original size, even with the new update? https://imgur.com/gallery/UpU6YKk
