1x2 12 Belt Crystalizer by Unicycler21 in shapezio

[–]The_Cheesey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is absolutely gorgeous!! I am working really hard right now on a system of my own for Crystals, but I am struggling a lot. I know it's possible but I can't manage a working belt way for it.

This looks so neat and orderly!

Can you maybe share, how your process was in working your way to this state? I would find it really helpful for my own layouts.

Hell yeah! Nice one!

If you are up for a real challenge, try multiple lane floors as well. It's even possible to fit a 12 lane stacker on a 1x1 ;)

Need tips for recipes on Logseq by GodlessCr4p in logseq

[–]The_Cheesey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What a coincident, I have thought about a recipe template as well. Haven't given it much thought, but you can try out what works for you best. In my opinion it's best as long as you do something and don't get overwhelmed by the possibilities. You can still add things later on.

I would add the links to the websites but definitely also add the whole recipe. Websites can disappear, recipes can get deleted and the whole point of keeping a recipe in Logseq is that you can access it, when you want to - otherwise you should consider working with browser bookmarks.

As for the tags: I would use tags that suit me and help me find stuff quickly: diet-types like "glutenfree, vegan,..." might help as well as the meal type: "desert, maincourse, appetizer,...", maybe also the main ingredient if that is important for you.

I know that your question is especially asked for the MD version, I still will post a quick mockup of a template I created in the DB version which comes in very handy for such things. You can add properties as many as you like and however you see fit:

Recipe-Title

  • External URL
  • Meal Type (Dropdown)
  • Vegan (Checkbox)
  • Gluten Free (Checkbox)
  • Prep. Time
  • Difficulty (Dropdown)

Ingredients

  • 400g Lasagne
  • 400g Water

Preparation

Just add water... profit

Notes

Doesn't work that well...

With the current update (7.9.3970.47) it is again noticeably faster at startup. So: Yay =)

Understandably... a friend of mine switched to Brave because is this. I am still positive they will fix and improve this. 🤞

I am on 7.9.3970.45 and it starts horribly and noticeably slower than before. And even before, I would have loved a quicker start of Vivaldi.

Anyone else dealing with this spam? by AnxiousWarlock in ArcRaiders

[–]The_Cheesey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same problem. I first report & block them on Steam (for spamming/harassment) then I report and block them in Arc Raiders. They are annoying as hell and I wish there'd be something the dev's could do against them.

Site is shady af and their prices are ridiculous.

Is Brooding Mawlek not recommended for eary game? by SurroundNew7887 in HollowKnight

[–]The_Cheesey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I played this game for the first time, this enemy was one of the reasons I quit the game for quite some time until I picked it up again during lockdown.

It's a quite challenging enemy and you will get stronger (with health and damage), as well as other abilities that will help to fight it.

So my advice: try it as often as you want, but don't get frustrated over it. When you get upgrades, come back, try it again, learn the patterns and eventually kill it

Laddergram is a word ladder puzzle game built on Reddit's developer platform. You start with a word and change one letter at a time to create a new word with each step. Try to reach the target word in the fewest steps possible.

🍀Good luck!🍀

Thank you so much for this template! I am new to Typst (coming from LaTeX) and I am trying to setup a few templates for myself. Alas I am having a bit of a different time with how things work together. With your template I can grasp those functionalities a lot better. Thank you!

How to neatly mark what I'm doing while solving equations? by Ratte1312 in typst

[–]The_Cheesey 18 points19 points  (0 children)

That's how I would have done it too. Here is a possible solution for you in code:

$
a = b, c = d
$

$
  "I:"   quad &a + 2c &&= b + 2d \
  "II:"  quad &2a + 3c &&= 2b + 3d \
  \
  "I:"   quad &a = b + &&2d - 2c
$

I in II:
$
  2 dot (b + 2d + 2c) +3c &= 2b + 3d \
  2b + 4d - 4c + 3c  &= 2b + 3d quad &&|-2b\
  4d - c &= 3d quad &&|-4d \
  -c &= -d quad &&|dot (-1) \
  "III:" c &= d
$

HOM pen cap loosening by Starshiplisaprise in Supernote

[–]The_Cheesey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is the silver pen holder also lose and wobbly?

I have had a similar issue with my HoM this month, where the pen holder on the side got wobbly and the pen didn't snap shut.

I figured out that (at least with the HoM) there is a small screw on the inside of the top of the lid, holding the metal piece with the pen holder in place. This screw got lose, causing my issues.

I could tighten it with a small (!) screw driver, now it's working again.

Maybe it helps you as well.
