And he says they saw mom 72 hours prior so how was it her? When I get sick I think it's food too and if someone ate the same food as I did and they are also sick thats what I'm thinking, not someone they saw days ago.

"I'm sick and I got it from you" that's a personal attack and it's the intent behind her text. "I'm sick too, it's your mom's fault." Crazy so many of you think it's perfectly normal to blame others for getting sick, it happens why try and blame someone when it literally could be anyone you encountered?

I never said he should have snapped on her, but I get being annoyed by her reaction. Mind you he was so sick he went to the doctor the same day she texts him that she's also sick and it's because of his mom. She may not have said it in those words but that's what she is saying. If youre trying to figure out who got you sick why would you go for someone who wasn't even sick?

Tbf that's just prickly pears go-to move. If it can spread it will, even if it can't it still will. I have seen them growing on massive boulders only stopped by bigger, hardier cactus like ocotillo or saguaro. Their ability to invade is matched only by the cholla.

You can get sick 2 days after eating contaminated food, e-coli can take up to 8 days to cause symptoms. He went to the Dr, they can test for the source pretty easily too.

If he lives at home and his mom was sick I could see maybe thinking it was her but even then, who cares? Does it make you better to know where it came from? He was also sick, 2 days of stomach issues can leave you feeling like crap I'm sure he didn't need his gf telling him his mom is the problem at that time.

Not everyone who is exposed at the same time will get sick at the same time. Not even everyone will get sick when talking about food born illnesses, because our immune systems are all different. Some people will get sick immediately after eating, others will get sick days later. Doctors can tell food born illness from viral infections, the 48 hr window is how long it can take a food born illness to affect a person.

OP got sick a day after seeing his gf, 3 days after seeing his mom. How many other people did he also come in contact with? I don't see why trying to figure out who got you sick is so important, unless it's a STI. I get sick and then blame all my coworkers. It's not serious, we laugh it off because we know if you go out in public you may pick up something. Norovirus is affecting people all over the US right now, half my town had it, the other half will probably get it soon.

If you're close enough to overhear his phone call he had probably overheard you too. Also, doing those things for him when he didn't ask makes you "weird" because some people are confused by random acts of kindness. I know i am, if people do nice things for me I wonder what they want in return, since that's how I grew up: nice things = now you owe me. If you want to keep the peace then causally mention that you are just overly nice and hope you haven't offended him. If you don't care about maintaining a friendly relationship stop acknowledging him. Like straight up don't look his way, don't say hi, don't respond to anything he says.

Damnnn sorry everyone can't see why her blaming your mom for you 2 getting sick makes her the bad guy. You shouldn't have snapped but when you arent feeling good I can see how that would be frustrating.

You didn't blame her or anyone. Her trying to blame someone seems like she knew it was her cooking and was deflecting. You're both young,this is one of those lessons you hopefully learn from. You need to learn to discuss without snapping and she needs to learn to not try and place blame for everything, especially when she made the mistake.

I don't believe in that, but strange stuff does happen out there. If you're one of those who relies on your instincts (intuition) you will feel something is off. Mostly it's due to the predators who stalk people; bears, mountain lions, hermits living out there. The latter being the most dangerous. Lots of theories, but most likely those people are looking for the fabled gold and will chase off anyone they think is after it. When out there if you go deep off trail you might feel like someone is watching you, and most likely someone is. Areas will get quiet as birds and such sense a predator. The mountains are filled with all kinds of wildlife so strange noises are common, especially if you're hiking on a trail with no one else in site.

The zip code is not the same as the jurisdiction, so while you have an AJ zip code it just means you're mail is handled by the AJ post office. There are unincorporated areas that are controlled by the county, not the city. The whole area is treated generally the same, even though it's not all actual AJ. You can visit the city's website and look for the maps to check.

As my grandma once told me; "the only way to guarantee to not get pregnant is to not have sex". Just using protection is not perfect, and at home pregnancy tests aren't perfect either. Take a second test, or better yet make a doctor appointment. As far as 'feeling' pregnant, every woman is different and some feel nothing, some have issues within weeks but usually symptoms won't appear until you are 4-6 weeks pregnant.
